Seems like someone is swiping eggs from the carton, taking from the slot that isn’t visible from the top. Mad at myself for not fully opening the container and checking before buying.

The eggs from target always get to me broken whenever I do target pickup. The cartons aren't sturdy enough and the employees are not handling the eggs properly. At $4 a dozen they need to be handled better

This price hike is ridiculous. Last week I bought an 18ct for 3.19, a week later they are 5.29?! Not a couple cents, a whole two dollars. I’m shocked at how Target priced these within just a week when the surrounding groceries are still in the $2-$3 range. Target won me when during a time of the pandemic they were actually the cheapest, now I hesitate to do more shopping here. (Also the packaging is beyond flimsy, the carton is more delicate than the eggs!)
