[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just opened the new hedge trimmer. Looks great and has a guard that protects the hedger teeth. Have not used the product yet, but I am writing this review to complete the registration. Will give 3 stars due to not using the trimmer yet. It would be in the company's best interest not to do it this way. I will update the review after using and change rating as necessary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I searched reviews for lightweight hedge trimmers and the Greenworks 24-volt cordless Laser-Cut Hedge Trimmer was the Best Lightweight in a review on www.thespruce.com! This was just what I needed since I am only 4 ft. 10 in. and 85 years old. Today I trimmed my front hedge and agree with the review. It does a beautiful job and is easy to handle. Just what I wanted! With the safety button on the handle, I knew I wouldn't by cutting my leg off if I dropped it. I can recommend it highly for anyone to use.

Some of it is a little too enthusiastic though! This hedge trimmer has worked flawlessly on almost every verdant obstacle. It's very fun to use, and of course I'm only using battery power when I'm chopping. I feel great not sucking down fumes from a two stroke engine or being limited by a cord. I can't compare it to other hedge trimmers, since it's my first, but so far I love it.

Absolutely LOVE this thing!! Love that it: rotates for different angles (though it says 5 it's 3!) weight is so much better than the electric one I have, BATTERY lasts me all day!! I can even use with one hand it! And it charges pretty quick!! WIN WIN !! So Wish would of brought this years ago!! Well worth the money!! Make sure to get this o e with the 4.0 AH BATTERY -

Just received a cosmetically defective item. A returned saw, possibly? I’m doubtful of it’s quality since it got shipped out despite a blatant arrow sharpied on the product to the defect.

I have previously purchased Greenworks 80v snowblower and leaf blower. They're both phenomenal. The only drawback with the blower is the weight of the battery. For that reason I decided to get the trimmer with the 24v battery. It's lightweight, super easy to use and works very well. The reason for 4 stars is because it could use a touch more power.

Impressive quality tool that makes trimming hedges much less a chore - it used to take as long to set up the cords for the trimmer I had used for more than 30 years. Reasonably light enough weight to easily trim hedges that are 3 to 4 feet tall.

Trimmer and battery are fine (would give 5 stars). Charger arrived half way full. After 2 and half hours of charging was full. Next charge was impossible, I was trying for 4 hours and battery was only 1/3 full. Evidently charger is defective (I hope Greenworks will give me new charger).

Hello Jerzy Achruk, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with this battery / charger. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. Should you continue to experience a problem with the battery / charger, please contact us at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). All we ask that you have access to the battery and charger so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.

We have 27 acres and we do a LOT of yard maintenance. This little hedge trimmer is perfect for all of the overgrown foliage around our fences. The battery is small but impressive, and lasts a good while on a full charge! The ONLY downside to the battery is that it takes 4 or more hours to get fully charged. For this reason, I'd recommend getting a second battery, and that is the reason for my 4 star rating!

Another great tool from Greenworks. I have used it a couple of times already and could not be happier. I was surprised that the blade as longer than anticipated for those long reaches and it is light for those extended uses on large scrubs.
