[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I already have a 24V hedge trimmer I bought the string trimmer only for a good price. Assembly was ok except for (1) wasn't sure whether to remove the rubber thingies that evidently just kept the shaft from scraping when disassembled for shipping (you need to do this) and (2) sticking the shaft parts together required a little bit of effort (hint - I used rubber gloves to better grip). Once assembled, it's easy to use - starts easily, battery inserts great. I think it does a fair trimming job if you're not doing a wide swath. If you're doing a lot of trimming over a large area, maybe a larger size (this is 10" - bigger than my previous 9" trimmer that was 34 years old and had a cord). Not sure how long the battery lasts - I trimmed for about 20 minutes and it was still going strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool works very well in all. Occasionally, it stops, and you have to clean out a portion of it, but that’s a simple hand wipe. I did have an issue charging batteries where the charger appeared to be overheated and blinking red due to hot garage. Now I know that I need to validate that successfully charging and not just slap them on the charger. I’ve used a couple different edges overtime and I like this one in particular because it has a lighter weight area where the battery is compared to some other models, So my arms don’t get as exhausted as quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Greenworks Edger work excellently well. I had very thick grass at the edges and even very first time it gave the sharp edges. It comes with two 24 v batteries which is sufficient to cover the edges for my lawn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this Edger and have used it to edge my entire front and back yard. It has great power to edge through even tough crab grass overgrowth on the sidewalks. The batteries lasted through the entire cut and only lost about half their power. I appreciate the portability of the unit (no cord). The unit is well made but not too heavy when using it. I am 65 and can handle it easily.
