Q: Does the trailer have the hitch part and it's open or a full loop?and tractor has the ball? I need the trailer to attach to something else

A: The hitch on the trailer is not a full loop and the ball is on the tractor. That being said, the two are designed to fit together and not to be compatible with any other toys or systems. It is unlikely this would work perfectly with a different toy.

The horse and farmer got great. It connects easily and the hatch open/closes/latches easily so that my theee yr old and can do all of it himself. Great toy. Great quality!

What a cute set up. Nice bright colors that the kids love. I have four grands under the age of 6 and they fight over who gets to play with this. The HABA animals all fit in it easily. A great size, perfect for imaginary farm play. I gave it four stars, because of the way the tractor trailer connects and the door on the trailer falls open easily. I am scared the kids will break off the connection, because they have a hard time connecting it and then are rough when taking it apart. The same with the pegs for the door on the trailer. The pegs are there, but don’t secure the door well and are small. The kids love it and I am hoping it will last for awhile. The price is fair though, so if they do break it, I can easily replace it.

My son received this tractor with farm animals for his birthday. He loves carrying it around. Sadly the trailer hitch broke off so we can't connect the trailer anymore, but this seems to be a common issue as the same happened with the camper my other son has.

He is just two but sees his father drive a tractor and he is eager to drive one too. The child has already had many hours of fun with this toy, which is a great accompaniment to the Little Friends play people he and his sisters share.
