[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the pleasure of playing Moonlight Castle and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! This game is a great way to get the family together for a fun and exciting adventure. The objective of the game is to collect the most jewels by cleverly swapping them for colorful pebbles. The colors need to match, so it's a great way to practice color recognition and strategy. The game is also very visually appealing with its bright and colorful pieces. I highly recommend Moonlight Castle for anyone looking for a magical and colorful collecting adventure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 4 year old LOVES moonlight castle. We've tried some other board games before with mixed results but he really connected with this one. He likes the medieval theme with the castle and the castle itself it really neat to look at when fully assembled. The game revolves around collecting colored pebbles and spending them to move around the board and claim gems before the evil wizard has a chance to. Rules and transactions are simple enough for a pre-schooler to understand - there is no reading necessary, only basic counting and color matching. I also like that some of the components can flip over and have added functionality which is more complex, meaning the game will grow with him for years to come. We will be gifting this board game to preschoolers as birthday presents from now on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game absolutely horrible seems very complicated and difficult even for grownups. My son was exited to play with this but after spending so much time to put it together I gave up and apologized from him and threw it in the garbage. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moonlight Castle is a fun game! At first, the instructions were a little confusing. I understood how to set the game up, but playing it seemed confusing. I watched the video and it instantly made more sense. This game can be played by anywhere from two to four players. You want to collect gems, but more importantly you want to collect cards with gems on it. Because the person with the most on their cards at the end of the game will win. The Littles and I really like pulling this game out and having fun playing it. I still stand by the instructions needing to be more clear, though. It does bother me that things on the cards aren't explained in the instructions. They should be added, so we don't have to find a video to explain it. Another thing is that some of the slots aren't big enough for things to connect - like while putting the castle together, I could not get some of that together because it was so small. But still a lot of fun to play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took a while to put this game together, but my four year old daughter loved the characters, the game board, and the entire premise of the game. It took us sometime to understand how to play the game. The first time, we just made up our own rules because she was too excited to play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun game for game night when watching my grandkids. This game can be played by 2 people up to 4 people. There is some assembly required but you only have to do it once and it fits right back in the box once the game is over. Very easy instructions and easy to learn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a cool game. It has the magical component, so we loved that. It is a great introduction into strategy but also relies on luck. It is a good into into a slightly more complicated game but not overwhelming. The instructions on the other hand are a little daunting but it is good once you get there. The physical quality of the game is not quite what you'd expect for the price.

The art style and overall presentation is very appealing to little ones. The castle is a little annoying to set up and it needs to be on a perfectly flat surface. Basically it's a worker placement game with a built in clock. You need the most jewels before the end.
