Q: Can this be used on silver jewelry?

submitted by Checking - 2 years ago

  • A: it sure can and works well.

submitted byLet Me - 2 years ago

  • A: Yes! Hagerty Silversmiths' Spray Polish is an excellent choice for removing tarnish from sterling silver, silver plate, and gold jewelry. Its spray application makes it especially effective for intricate designs, as it easily reaches delicate details like filigree and engraving that are difficult to clean with traditional polishing methods. To achieve the best results, we recommend pairing it with a Hagerty Horsehair Brush, which is gentle enough to remove excess polish from tight spaces without damaging the metal or delicate craftsmanship. This combination helps ensure your jewelry shines while preserving its intricate beauty.

Q: can you cover the stones as well with the spray?

submitted by scobby 1 - 7 years ago

  • A: The Silversmiths' Spray Polish is formulated for silver, if you are polishing a piece that has stones, we recommend that you apply the polish to a cotton cloth and polish the silver avoiding direct contact with the stone.

This is by far the best silver cleaner and polish in the world! Be sure to use in a well-ventilated space.
