I agree with some of the other comments that it shouldn’t zipper from the top but it’s not difficult and I don’t have any trouble with it so I don’t have any complaints. I love Halo sleep sacks. Both my babies have worn them till almost 2 years old. I do feel like they look pretty worn after only a few uses, but that may be normal for micro fleece. I wish they were cheaper, but oh well. They make me feel better than my baby sleeping with a loose blanket.

The zipper has changed from the previous design. You must now hook the zipper at the top and pull down, rather than having a double zipper. This makes putting my child in and out of the sack more difficult, and the fleece fabric, while soft, feels lighter than my last halo sack.

This sleep sack is soft and adorable but the one I got came with an odd chemical smell. I figured it smelled funny because it was new and sitting in a package but even after I washed it, it still had that smell. I’ve purchased several sleep sacks to know this isn’t normal. Lost a star for this reason. Hoping the smell will dissipate as it’s washed more times. Other than that, appears to be nice quality.

Positives: Nice and soft, and thicker than some of the other sleep sacks we've tried. Negatives: within moments of putting the sleep sack on my 2 week old, the closed end of the zipper (under his chin) came apart and now his neck has scratches... Since that end was now opened, the zipper wouldn't go all the way back up, and it took quite a bit of force to get the zipper undone enough to get my baby out of the sack. Nervous to try the other sleep sacks we ordered by this brand. Wasted money.
