Thick with great support.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how sturdy these socks feel. They're thick without being bulky, and have various areas that are reinforced. You can see the different textured areas of support when you flip them inside out (pictured). My son says they're comfortable all day. They wash well and I've been hanging them to dry. He's been wearing them two or three weeks now and they're holding up well. They do not appear to be getting holes any time soon. They do stain easily because they're white and he's nine, but I don't hold that against them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent these Hanes Boys' Absolute Ankle Socks to review. Taking them out of the packaging, they looked nice & plush. They felt very nice and soft My son LOVES them. As soon as he put them he said they were super soft, super comfy, and fit very well. There are a darker blue color, light blue color and grey color of socks. They are really nice and padded with extra fabric at the top of the foot and toe box, but not so padded that the sock is too bulky to wear comfortably in shoes. It’s a really good balance of softness and padding without bulkiness. They could easily be unisex (I want a pair!). They’re not overly boyish. I wish they were a bit more boyish. They struck me as slightly feminine in the lighter blue color. Not a big deal at all, but something I noticed.

Best Ankle socks I have ever had.
