My seven year old son hates the way certain socks feel. He is easily bothered by the corners of the toe area. These are the only socks he will wear and is not bothered by the toe. I only gave it four stars though because I find his socks are the only ones that look very dingy and very worn after about six months. Because of this I have to replace his socks more often than my other three kids socks.

Soft socks but they have strings on the inside from the pattern which can get caught on the toes/nails. There are also knotted balls of string that are at the end of the toe box where the toe seam ends that really bothered my son. If clipped, it will leave a hole.

Could be considered sensory socks
There are toe seams but they are hardly noticeable. You know how those cutesie off brand socks with characters on them have that very prominent toe seam? These socks don't have that. If you turn inside out, there are a lot of like fringe on the sides but my child didn't notice it. We have been through so many different socks trying to find some without the annoying toe seam. I wasn't going to pay $20 a pair either. I'm so glad I found these.
