Q: Are these pasture raised?

submitted by Bee - 2 months ago
  • A: Hi! While we do offer Pasture Raised eggs, this specific product is Free Range. The main difference between Free Range and Pasture Raised is the amount of outdoor space. Pasture Raised farms are 50 acres, and Happy Egg Free Range farms are 8+ acres, ensuring every Happy Hen has the freedom to explore and thrive on outdoor pastures. A Happy Hen lays a Happy Egg, after all.

Q: So why all the reviews about bad eggs and bloody eggs any answers for those comments?

submitted by HetCrazyLady - 6 months ago
  • A: Most likely to never encounter such things you are speaking about. Clearly a rating of almost 5 is the over all opinion of the majority of people's outcome when buying these eggs.

Q: Are these eggs antibiotic and hormone free?

submitted by luvnca - 11 months ago
  • A: Our hens are raised with the highest animal welfare standards, which gives you an all-natural egg. We’re proud to offer both organic and conventional (non-organic) eggs. The only difference between the two is the hens’ feed. Our organic hens’ feed is fully non-GMO and comes from grain farms untouched by any hormones or antibiotics.

Q: Are the eggs certified humane?

submitted by Lauren - 1 year ago
  • A: For us at Happy Egg specifically, we think the American Humane Certified Free Range certification is perfect for our hens because it offers 21.8 square feet of outdoor space per bird, and the outdoor space includes 60% vegetation!

Is it orange?

I tried Happy Egg Co because my local store was out of my preferred brand. I expected more consistency in the color of the yolks - most look the same as conventional yolks. I'll stick with my other brand.

Left with questions

After reading that the birds only have 2 sq ft I was disappointed. Yes the yolks are yellow orange but I couldn’t find what the birds are fed. Corn? Soy? Turmeric? Would love to read that they are not fed corn/gmo

not so golden

not so golden yolks... quite disappointed. especially that I couldn't "contact" them from the website. instead a poor review after years of loving the product. If I could add a picture, you would understand why. I'm sure they taste fine but I am paying for free range and these don't look so good.

Happy eggs

The expiration for the dozen eggs I received was 10/09. There isn’t enough time for me to eat that many eggs

Good from grocery, bad from Target

I love these eggs. But the last 3 times I ordered them from Target I thought they tasted funny and threw them out after only using a few. The expiration date was up only a few days after buying. Usually eggs last for a month after that. Not sure if it is the conditions Target keeps them in or what. But they go bad quickly. They are always fine and good from the grocery store. So I recommend these but only from a grocery store, not Target.

Pale yellow yolks

When I first started buying these, I was thrilled how orange the yolks were. The last 8 dozen I have bought have a pale yellow color and aren’t as tasty. I will be looking for a new brand and you should remove the amber/orange yolk descriptions off of the packaging!!! I’m very disappointed about the deceptive descriptions…

Eggs my toddler loves? SAY LESS

Picky eating is a thing of the past for our mornings now! Making breakfast for my little one always includes a Happy Egg. She loves these eggs anyway you scramble, shake, stir, flip, or flop them. Definitely a must have in our weekly grocery haul!

Issue with Curbside Pickup and Damaged Eggs

Subject: Issue with Curbside Pickup and Damaged Eggs Hello, I placed a drive-up order so I wouldn’t have to get out of my car. When the associate brought my groceries, I checked the eggs and noticed that in one carton, more than half of the eggs were broken. I waited for the associate to come back, and when I explained the issue, he responded with a bad attitude and told me I had to go inside to return them. I told him I wasn’t prepared to go inside and asked him to please replace the eggs and bring me a new carton. He came back and said that all the eggs were the same and insisted that I go inside. When I finally went in, the department manager brought me another carton of the same brand — and those eggs were not broken. Why did I have to go inside when the replacement was possible? No refund or documentation was provided, and the experience was frustrating and disappointing. I would appreciate an explanation and a follow-up on this matter.

Weekly grocery store go to!

The free range eggs are my weekly go to. They're always consistently delicious and perfect each time. The golden yolks sets them apart from any other egg brand.

Staying Healthy with Happy Eggs

I coose happy eggs for 2 reasons. 1. Because I have Systemic Lupus and I have to be very careful about what I eat. Happy eggs are free of the chemicals that are sometimes found in factory egg. I also have a primary Immunodeficiency disease caused by the Lupus. So reducing my exposure to Salmonella helps me stay healthy. Plus they taste great!!!!

Inconsistent yolk color and quality

These have been my go to eggs for years recently I have received random eggs wirh subpar yolk color and flavor . I have stuck with happy eggs thru the egg price increases because of the consistent quantity. I hope this returns.
