Terrible product
Received this card as a gift. Would never buy this for anyone else. It is the most confusing gift card I have ever encountered. You basically go online and pick out your own gift card somewhere else but the website is horrible. Do not recommend this. Target needs to stop selling this product.

Had to workaround, but it worked.
Since this card needs to be ran as a visa, a lot of merchants don't allow split payments, and it will not go through on purchases higher than the card's value. The work around is to use this card on the merchant site to purchase direct gift cards, which can be split.

Redemption may fail using browser on phone
I was quite annoyed when trying to redeem the gift on my phone but got error message. Tried multiple cards I got but all failed. I then tried to redeem on the same website on iPad and it worked. Hope this info helps.

Arrived in my email quickly - no issues redeeming
It only took 3 minutes after purchase to arrive in my email and I received my promo Target gift card within 15 minutes. I had no issues clicking the email, selecting my gift cards, then getting the gift card code. It took a few seconds for the confirmation page to finish loading the code, but once it was done I was able to easily copy them. I went ahead and immediately added them to my apps/accounts for the two stores I selected.

Redeemed for Lowes gift card. The card they sent has an invalid pin rendering the card useless. Contacted Choice Gift cards who then denied that it was their responsibility even though the card was issued through them. None of the parties involved will accept responsibility or attempt to fix the problem.

Scammed by Target and Lowes
I purchased 11 of the $100 gift cards and picked Lowe’s for in December 2023 since I wanted to purchase some appliances. I verified that the balances were all correct the day after purchasing them then when I went to My local Lowe’s to use them 2 weeks later they all had zero balances. Thinking it is possible internal theft through Lowe’s since they refuse to assist even with a police report. The police are trying to help but Target and Lowe’s have been no help at all. Seems like an internal cover up of some kind, or else they just don’t care since they got their money. Lowe’s said it was all purchased as an on line purchase but will not provide the information. I love shopping at Target and have always trusted this company. I can’t believe Target is still offering these gift cards for sale since it’s a total scam. Maybe they don’t care as long as they get their money? Maybe they don’t read these reviews? They need to read all these reviews and stop selling them to their loyal customers. It’s a shame. I can deal with this loss but would love to see justice to whoever did this crime and continues to do it.

Do not buy!! Instead of buying this gift card that you have to exchange for another gift card just go buy the gift card that you want. This gift card is not for all these stores that are listed. It is actually for one store on this list but you have to go online and exchange it and re-print out the gift card that you choose. Just go buy the gift card that you want instead of this

Fraud do not buy!
Purchased on Black Friday when they were running a promotional deal where you would receive a $20 Target gift card if you bought it. Redeemed the code instantly for a gift card to Lowe’s, which I then went to use and it was declined! It said the balance was zero dollars. Called Target who told me there was nothing they could do since it was redeemed and activated. I can’t even believe this is still available for purchase on their site.

Shame on you Target!! Scam!
Unbelievable! I am out $100 and do not have a gift for my niece and nephew. I purchased two $50 gift cards and never received them. They were supposed to be emailed after I purchased them but the emails never came. I am shocked that Target would be part of this scam and continue to be part of it despite all of the reviews. I am furious!!
