However, I was disappointed with the quality of the blades. Compared to the other razor I typically use, Harry’s is a lot rougher and I’ve experienced a lot more razor burn and small cuts. I don’t think Harry’s is a bad razor by any means, I just don’t think it stacks up with the higher end razors.

Unfortunately, I have ended up with bad cuts both times. I would recommend going slower and being extremely gentle; the metal handle is heavier and more unwieldy than any razor I have ever used. I even made sure to steam for 10 minutes beforehand, exfoliated, and used the conditioner I trust and love. I still look like Edward Scissorhands and could use some concealer, stat!

The "Plus" feature is the head's advanced pivoting system. Basically, it moves a lot more fluidly than the older model. That means fewer awkward angles and less snagging, especially when you're going over your jawline or under your chin. It really just glides. You still get the sharp 5blade cartridge for a super close shave and that aloe infused lubricating strip to keep things smooth. Plus, they kept the crucial precision trimmer on the back a must have for cleaning up sideburns or getting that little spot right under your nose. Bottom line. It's a high quality, comfortable shave that feels more (premium) than its price suggests. Definitely worth the upgrade!
