Harry's Men's Face Lotion

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this is the worst face lotion I have ever used. It did exactly the opposite of what moisturizer should do: it made my face feel drier after applying it, it left a weird residue, and it flaked off when I touched it. My face actually feels and looks worse after using this product; I tried it out for a week, but I can't take it anymore. A complete waste of 10 dollars!

Picked up the 1oz version because I needed some face lotion with SPF in a travel-friendly size. Wish I had gone with something else. It's the consistency of a thick paste. Almost the consistency of peanut butter. Definitely does not absorb well. Also has an odd, off-putting scent. At least that part goes away fairly quickly. I do not recommend and this will be my only purchase of Harry's face lotion.

I used this as a facial sunscreen as I normally do with similar products. I got a sunburn. Will not use it again.

Husband loves this stuff for daytime and it keeps him out of MY skincare products. Got a little routine going for him now and he looks great!

The smell from just a pea-sized dollop of this face lotion was so overpowering that I had to leave the room to stop coughing. Absolutely terrible.

My husband really enjoys this daily moisturizer. It gives him some sun protection and isn’t greasy.

For a mineral-only sunscreen, this is extremely light feeling and no white cast on most skin tones. It is only spf 15, but that’s the trade off. The scent is peppermint and eucalyptus. The style of this bottle makes it look extremely small, but this is actually the same size as the Neutrogena men’s spf which is about the same price. I prefer the Neutrogena though as it was easier to squeeze the product out and you could do so directly onto your face.

Very refreshing lotion for a man’s face, includes SPF 15 for your daily protection. Use it everyday and feel great.

I’m a woman and I LOVE this face lotion. I bought it for my husband but it quickly became mine. It is fantastic under makeup. It dries quickly, is non-greasy, and the spf protects my face from sunburn. I live in a humid climate and it does great. A little bit goes a long way.

Too expensive. Should be $5 at most. Nothing special.

Finally convinced my husband to try out a face wash and lotion for his recent acne breakout and this worked great. Perfect moisturizer to protect your skin in the winter.

It absorbs quickly, and skin isn't shiny afterwards, leaving a matte finish instead... Very happy with it.

You get what you pay for. I bought this to try out (thinking it deserved a chance), as the ingredient list checked out to be pretty clean. At SPF 15, it’s barely scraping the barrel when it comes to UVA/UVB sun protection (according to the American Academy of Dermatology). I would be happy about the fact that it’s non-greasy. However, when used by itself, a person needs to apply it to wet or very damp skin. Applying it to dry skin causes it to “ball up.” This moisturizer only redeemed itself a little bit with that fresh peppermint scent it was formulated with. When it comes to skin care, please do NOT skimp. Spend a little extra time shopping around, do some research, find something with SPF 30 or higher, and (of course) stick to clean ingredients.

I've been using this for about a year. I like how non greasy it is and how quickly it dries. Aesthetically, I haven't found an spf moisturizer that even comes close to it. The peppermint smell was intense when I first started using, but I gradually got used to it and it fades completely once it dries. Also, the price is steep for such a small amount. You have to use a decent amount to actually get the listed spf of 15, so I go through the bottles quickly. Really wish that either the bottle were bigger or costed less. Can't believe this product isn't more popular, I completely recommend.

I’ve read a bunch of reviews and other than the scent, which seems to be an either love it or hate it thing, what really stood out to me was people’s reaction to the size of the container and the SPF. I agree that it seems pricey for such a small amount, but that’s unfortunately typical for facial moisturizers with SPF. 15 is actually a totally effective SPF, and in fact anything much higher than that only offers marginally better protection at best, but that’s assuming that you use the appropriate amount. So no, a little doesn’t go a long way. The average person would have to use at least a nickel-sized amount for their face alone for it to actually provide an SPF of 15. Basically, you need to apply enough that you can see a layer on your skin before you rub it in. Just putting that out there since it seems most people aren’t really aware of that.

My husband really likes this face cream. It has a nice smell and moisturizes well without feeling greasy.
