Description
Yell it, shell it, avoid it to win it! In the Snailed It! card game, players compete to earn the fewest points and get rid of their cards as quickly as possible. But to do so, they’ll need to avoid penalties that cause them to pick up more cards. To start, create 4 rows—each with a Snail card and 2 number cards—and deal each player a hand of 8 cards. Players take turns placing a number card from their hand into the color-corresponding row on the table. However, they must try not to leave too large a difference between the starting number card and the card played. Because the greater the number gap, the greater the chance that other players will shout "SNAILED IT!" and throw cards (equaling points) to them. For those looking for fun family games for game night, travel, and everyday play, the Snailed It! game is a great choice. Exciting and different!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Snailed It game was lots of fun! Although it’s different than what I’m used to, I got the hang of it fast! It’s similar to Cabanga, and a round can go quickly. I have two really smart teenagers and a smart husband and they loved it. The cards are durable and will hold up to all the excitement. Try it if you want a change from the usual games!

Math lovers only
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game says it is for 8+. My husband and I are pretty adept at card games and this game was confusing. After re-reading the instructions several times we tried a few games with our super intelligent 8 year old. It was not the most enjoyable game. There is a lot of math involved and it felt more like homework to her than a game. We will try again when she is a little older, but overall we did not enjoy this product.

Not for younger kids

Fun Family Game!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun card game that my 12-year-old, my 13-year-old, and I have been playing together. It says for ages 8 and up, but I think younger kids who can count to 18 could enjoy playing too. It needs at least 3 players, and it would probably be better with 4-6 players. The play is pretty unique, with players taking turns trying to avoid numerical “gaps” between the numbers on played cards. The rest of the players, if they are holding the cards that would fill in the gap, toss those cards at the person who created the gap while shouting, “Snailed it!” The original player must then draw that number of penalty cards. When one player empties their hand, the round is over, and scores are calculated based on the cards still in the other players’ hands. The game is over when one player reaches 18 points, and the winner is the player with the least points at that time. Sounds complicated, but super easy to learn, quick paced, and lots of fun! The cards themselves are vibrant and colorful, just as I would expect from Hasbro, and the compact box makes it easy to take along for playing on the go.

Did not understand it concept.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were excited to try Snailed It!, but unfortunately, my 11 and 9-year-olds struggled quite a bit with the rules. The concept of when cards are tossed and which ones count for scoring was particularly confusing for them. While the artwork is cute, the gameplay wasn't intuitive for our family.

Fast and exciting…no snails here!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whew! Snailed it! by Hasbro is fast-paced, exciting, and keeps you on your toes. There are a few different things to watch for in each play. We were a bit confused at first and had to keep the game instructions out to refer to the first time we played. The video on how to play the game was helpful. Ironically, our nine-year-old seemed to understand all the rules of the game before the adults did! The rounds are quick. This game is quickly becoming a family favorite. Our kids and their friends like playing. The package is slim and colorful. The cards are sturdy.
