Q: I have a faux fireplace and want to use this. Does it have to be wall mounted or can it just stand inside the fireplace well.

A: Yes — it may be possible to place this unit inside a faux fireplace well if the well provides the required width, depth, clearance, ventilation, and power access. However, because the item is specifically listed as “wall mounted”, using it as a freestanding insert inside a fireplace well is not guaranteed to meet the manufacturer’s intended installation method or clearance specifications. Beautiful but not a heatwave. Recommended for aesthetics
Love this fireplace! It was a really good price for the quality. It doesn’t keep our bedroom very warm but it looks amazing. If you need it for super warmth, this isn’t the one but visually it’s great.
