A: The metal bendable allowing it to be "pinched" for thinner mantels or stretched more open for larger mantels. Thanks for your question!

$16 is very steep for these 4 but I do like how it looks even though it’s more of a yellow than gold. It does holds quite a bit of weight. I put my stocking on them & they’re hangs very nice from my mantle. I just don’t understand the pricing.
