An absolutely beautiful doll. Was pleasantly surprised that she was much taller than expected; like a little person. A little pricey but for me worth the buy for my 5yr old grandaughter who attended a cheer camp and loved it. Can't praise the designer enough for purposely helping our little girls to know the beauty of their blackness. The "HBC You" is a priceless bonus and ever so clever. Great segue for educating on what these institutions are and what they have to offer.

Both the pom-poms and the shoes are removable. Quality cheer uniform and the facial detail are impressive. Her hair is very soft. The doll's sizing is standard so other outfits fit easily.

I got this HBCyoU Student Body President Doll for my granddaughter and she loves it. My daughters are so excited to see the representation. This is perfect. From her skin to her hair, to the clothing, the quality is excellent. The only thing I'd say is that I thought her complexion would be darker and the hair either thicker or coarser. Overall we love her and she will be enjoyed for years to come.

She is a large, 18 inch, doll with voluminous, natural, hair (and a lot of it!), and a beautiful face and clothing. She is seriously more beautiful in person than the photos show and she is so well made. My 6 year old daughter loves her and her curls, and I love that this doll really let's that hair run wild. Not many dolls have hair like hers, and representation is important! All in all, we LOVE HER

She is 18 inches tall so she’s plenty big enough to notice all of her detailed features. Her hair is soft and curly. Her dress and accessories are removable. The tiara is very detailed. Her gown is shimmery and she comes with heels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a doll for slightly older girls, for sure. She is approximately the height of a standard 18", but slimmer with a hard body. Her only points of articulation are neck, arms, and legs, and those have a very limited range of movement. She won't be doing much posing, but with some gentle manipulation should be able to stand. Her face is beautifully painted, and she has rooted hair. The fullness is primarily in the front, so you can lightly change up her hairstyle with no patchiness. The back, however, is much thinner. Her hair is soft, but does tangle very easily. lt comes sewn to the side of the box, to flatten it somewhat during packaging, but it was difficult to remove the strings and refluff her hair without snarling it. Her clothes are well made, but the shoes are plastic instead of canvas or pleather. Her poms are super cute, though.

Beautiful doll. Her hair was a little matted in the box when I received her, but I was able to fix it as best I could. She's still adorable. I was glad to see she is all vinyl, so she's durable for my nieces.
