A: If you want to use Head & Shoulders on a child because you think they have dandruff you should speak to your doctor first. This is because dandruff does not occur before puberty so it could be another scalp condition.

Bad attitude in both tallers
I arrived like nothing and started doing my shopping. Came to the pick counter and the person there was very rude and they couldn't get my order cuz apparently it takes 2 hours to complete an item. Like I didn't know you need a Harvard graduate to do this order. Terrible people at target it seem they hate their work environment and customers are the ones who have to pay the broken dishes

Itching/Dandruff got Worse
It smells good, similar to their classic apple one; sweet n' slightly fruity. The smell doesn't hang around the bathroom or your hair either, so it's good for those sensitive to scents. However, it did not work for me. My dandruff & scalp itching has actually gotten worse. I didn't notice reddness so I don't think it's an allergic reaction, but the itching has subsided since discountinuing use. There are a few other versions of this brand that cause the same thing for me. I'll be returning to my previous Aveeno Apple Cider Vinegar shampoo/conditioner, which containers more vinegar anyway & I also use the Clinical Strength Head n' Shoulders in the blue bottle. I had hoped this one would replace all 3, saving me money, but I was wrong as it simiply does not funciton as well.

HEAVY RESIDUE after daily usage!!
This works really well at controlling dandruff and cleaning your scalp. HOWEVER, this shampoo leaves HEAVY RESIDUE on your hair. If your hair starts to fell heavy and not smooth after using this shampoo know that it’s because of the residue that is now stuck on your hair. Such a disappointment that this happens. Now I use ACV hair rinses and masks to get rid of the residue. I stopped using this shampoo because of this reason.

Great for itchy scalp
Even though it has sodium laureth sulfate in it worked well for my scalp. I have used it in the past and stopped using for a while and had to go back to this one because it was the only thing that would help my itchy scalp. Does try my hair a little bit but if you use conditioner you’ll be okay.

Soothing For Your Scalp
This is the 3rd shampoo I purchased for my itchy scalp, and so far it has disminished the itch to about 1/4 of what I experienced in the past with other shampoos. I like the 2 in 1 feature, and also that head and shoulders has been making these shampoos for years. the scent is also very nice, a very slight apple smell. I will continue to use as long as it helps.

i’m actually so shocked. i have SUCH a sensitive scalp and weird allergies that i was so afraid it would break me out. i’m a week in and no breakouts and way less itch! only downside is that it is very drying, use a hydrating conditioner!!
