Too Spicy

I used to love this healthy Unwrapped Burrito Bowl, but it has changed to become way too spicy. I used to eat at least one per week because they are healthier than most similar items, but now I can't stand them due to the excessively spicy sauce. I wish Healthy Choice had another equally healthy option or would go back to their original recipe.

Inedible

I purchased two of these meals. I ate one and it seemed a lot spicier than the same ones I had bought in the past. I was wary of eating the second one but I heated it up. I took one bite of it and started coughing. It was so spicy hot I couldn’t eat any more. My throat feels burnt nine hours later. I have never had an experience like this. This is inexcusable. I have many other food companies to choose from. Very disappointed.

Quality control

I’ve been buying this for months. Tonight the frozen meal was five times as hot as before, Have you changed the recipe or did I just get a bad batch?

Changed sauce - TOO HOT

This had been my husbands go to lunch. Did you change the recipe? It was so hot he couldn't finish it. Really disappointed you changed the sauce. I have two more in the freezer and will have to throw them out.

You can control the heat

People keep saying it's too spicy, You can control the heat by adding less of the green sauce. That's what I do and it works. Plus sometimes I add an additional protein like chicken chunks.

They just changed the spice level without warning. Way too spicy for me now. Won’t be buying again. Big disappointment as I loved the previous version.

Serrano peppers??

I agree with a lot of the other reviewers that this product is way too hot!! Other people could add some hot sauce if desired, but there is little you can do to tame the heat. I was at work, and I could only eat six bites. I tried picking out the beans and corn, but gave up after a while. Many of the reviews are years old and ConAgra has not taken the hint. Sorry, but this is awful!

The recipe WAS changed !!!!

Hello there. First and foremost I am not here to dismiss a great product from a long line of satisfactory products that I have used for years. My mother introduced me to “Healthy Choice” when I was in my 20’s (not saying my age now, lol) and I have always enjoyed them. This brand has always kept this line specifically innovative with eclectic choices. I am very happy with the cleaner ingredients line, and it fits in with my dietary needs. I do need to comment here about the ‘Unwrapped burrito bowl.” This was by far my favorite frozen lunch. In the past month, I got a big surprise when I ate one-two bites and had to put it away because it was WAY too spicy for my taste. I never noticed the “spicy tomatillo sauce” written on the packaging before. (I could have missed it.) Why mess with a good thing ?? I am wondering, why not have the spicy version, for those who like that, and the MILD version- for little old me and people like me who love it?? Bring back my favorite please !

I used to love eating these, i would buy like 5 at a time. i don’t know if they changed the recipe within the last month or so but the new ones i purchased recently are unbelievably spicy to the point where i couldn’t eat it anymore. this makes me really sad because i loved them. please change them back if you altered the recipe!!!

Too much spice

This is garbage, there's too much spice so it goes in the trash. I can't taste any of the other ingredients. I can't eat it and neither can my children. I'm not sure why companies think they should automatically make foods from some cultures spicy. There should've been a spice pack to add if you wanted it. Making food like this causes a company to lose out on a lot of customers. I purchased a southwestern bowl that I'll be returning, I'm not taking a chance that it'll be too spicy to eat.
