This is not at all the same as the tousle me spray gel. The smell is more like perfume which is frustrating since the tousle me spray gel had such a wonderful scent. I loved the whole tousle me line. Such a disappointment!

This is the new product. I do not like the smell. It has a strong perfume/hairspray smell unlike the old product that was sweet smelling and smelled great. I really loved the old product. This new product also makes my hair dry and crunchy unlike the old product that left my hair feeling soft and moisturized. Unfortunately I will have to look for a different brand due to the bad smell.

Agree wholeheartedly with Aesthetics 13. The WHOLE line of 'tousle me softly" was INCREDIBLE. And it kept my hair in wonderful condition too (and can't forget to mention the glorious fragrance. (Even my stylist commented on the excellent condition of my hair.) And in your response to her you mentioned the "purchasing habits of consumers" -- not sure where you were looking, but where I live, the whole line of "tousle me softly" products FLEW off the shelves!! This stuff is DEFINITELY And that line's spray gel was amazing for my wavy hair, spray, scrunch, smell glorious, and go -- this version, not so great. I actually switched to an entirely different manufacturer for my hair care. I would switch back, if the "tousle me softly" was available again, lol. But otherwise -- nope, none of your products appeal to me

Have been searching for a hair product to help me put my hair in a bun and keep it there. And I love this brand and I think I found it! I wash my hair yesterday and had damp it the morning after and use this product and love it! It’s light and smooth and isn’t overwhelming smell. I hope it doesn’t get discontinued!

For over 45 years I’ve tried 100’s of gel/spray gel products and this still is my number #1 go-to. It is easy to apply and smells really fresh & floral. For a looser hold, I apply it when my hair is 85% dry. For a more stiffer hold, apply right after removing your towel and then let is scrunch dry. A little goes a long way. It is definitely affordable and let’s not forget to mention the limited amount of ingredients when equates to minimal build-up if any at all. Highly recommended! Thank you Herbal Essenc

I agree with previous review, why did you change the formula, I liked the spray gel you had before this, I bought it quite often. I don’t know why you changed it. I don’t like the new one. It doesn’t work for my hair like the other one did, can you change it back?

Why do companies change a product when there’s nothing wrong with it? The original spray hair gel was perfect. Now it’s different, from the smell to the stiffness you now get. Nothing that I can see is better than the way it was.

I have used this product for many years. It is the best on the market for someone with thin/fine/straight hair that flies around. But in 2023 they changed it to the green/clear bottle and the smell is horrible and extremely, extremely powerful and doesn't fade. I found it very offensive. The old smell was nice, weak, and faded quickly. It worked just as well as the old version, but I couldn't wait to wash it out and simply can't use it. I have tried for months to find another product that works and so far nothing has come close. I even resorted to making my own spray gel out of gelatin and aloe (which kinda works, but, again, nowhere near as well). Please, please consider going back to the old smell/level, or consider also making an unscented version.

It was far too light to hold any sort of style and with the oil that also made for greasy hair. The size is somewhat average so there is/should be plenty to last for a bit.

I think this is a really good product if you are looking for something to help with Wavy or curly hair. I sprayed this on while my hair is air drying. My hair is naturally wavy and this helps the curls stay and I also use it to touch up later in the day

I’ve been using HE styling products for over 20 years. Been through many reformulations and rebrandings. This one by far is the WORST. If you are sensitive to smell STAY AWAY. I had to wash my hair immediately as it was giving me a migraine. Selfishly I’d love to see an unscented version but I know that may not be a popular choice. This scent is super concentrated and lingers. Lasted through 3 shampoos. PLEASE dial back the scent. I don’t want to smell like I made a paste of downy unstoppables and coated my hair with it (not the same scent but just as powerful and overpowering). Shame too bc this was always the best spray gel I found at the drugstore. Currently struggling to find a replacement. I hope they fix this soon!

My son really likes to have the front part of his hair spiked up into a cool style but I hate the feeling of gel on my hands. This bottle makes it great, because i don't have to touch the gel to get his hair to stay spiked. He is so happy having his hair spiked, and I am so happy that my hands don't get sticky. It holds his hair all day through preschool, and only comes out when I go to shower him for the day. It doesn't make his hair super stiff, or greasy looking either. Definitely would recommend!
