So I was opposed to this coca because it's a standard American big name brand, but after spending LOTs of money on special boutique raw cacao items and sellers, that tasted really bad or just didn't agree with me, Hershey's is the absolute best tasting cacao and best feeling..for me that is. This is the only one that just works, hot cocoa, cocoa pudding, cocoa gelatin, it is the best one, sorry. Yes it is cacao, and I feel the benefits every single time I drink or eat it. Being a BIG coffee lover for 35 years, this has almost replaced it entirely, I seem to get more clean energy boost from this versus coffee now, I don't know why.

I decided to make some chocolate ice cream today. You use a food processor to blend 300g of frozen bananas and add 2 tablespoons of cocoa blending to the consistence of ice cream. If you like it a little sweeter add a little sugar, I like it without it. My new container of Hershey's Cocoa had Expired in 2014 which is 8.5 years ago but I used it anyway and it was fine.

This works fine in baking and hot chocolate recipes, I prefer the Hershey’s special dark cocoa powder but that’s very hard to find. I wouldn’t say there’s a noticeable difference between this and store brand cocoa powders.

Of course Hersey's cocoa is delicious but what does 100% cacao really mean? Is it really raw cacao, with all its flavonoids and other nutrients intact? Or, is it merely made from cacao beans but processed at the high temps used to produce cocoa and, in the process loosing much of the nutrient value? I'd like to know?

Right away, i knew i had to make the brownies from the Hershey site. I remember making these brownies as a little girl. The taste of the brownie with this cocoa is so delicious and not too sweet. It gives the brownie a nice texture. This Hershey's cocoa powder makes the best brownies i have ever tasted!

It does take quite a bit of stirring to get rid of clumps. So i prefer to use it for more baking then drinking.

I know Its Unsweetened powder but when you make cookies or hot cocoa its so sweet, rich and chocolaty you will love it. The Hersheys Cocoa Powder has only got 10 calories per serving, 0g of saturated fats, 0mg sodium, and 0g total surgars, so its perfect for any chocolaty recipe you might want to make. Its especially perfect for diabetics and or those of us that need to monitor our surgar and salt consumption. I would highly recommend hersheys powder to anyone I loved it and so will you.

I have tried many brands and always come back to this one. It has an amazing, rich, chocolatey taste that others just don't compare to. You can use this for so many delicious desserts from cookies, cakes, brownies and more. I love using this cocoa to make homemade hot chocolate and homemade hot fudge sauce.
