I do not recommend this product at all! I was trying to save money and this brand is less expensive than Hershey’s. Once opened I was skeptical. The color was more pale and it looked much coarser. I used it to make buttercream frosting. The taste was awful and left an after taste. It also had a very gritty texture. Ruined the birthday cake as all the adults noticed. Luckily Target gave me a refund. I will stick with Hershey’s.

I loved the cocoa powder I bought. Instead of eating non organic, though Hersheys isn’t organic but no added sugars n good in fiber n iron. Also, powder is thicker in color and consistency. Also, tastes good.❤️❤️

Target Messes Up My Order Forcing Me to Pay Charges
I ordered this to be shipped along with 5 other items in order to get my order over $35 for free shipping. Target shipped the 2 items that I really didn’t need and labeled the main items as “pick up from store”. I had to cancel the main items because I live 40 miles from the nearest store which caused me to be charged shipping costs for items I didn’t need.

Great natural taste. I've been using this Target Good & Gather brand for at least 7 years. I'm glad I bought 6 containers the last time just before cocoa prices went up. I make a lot chocolate cakes and homemade hot cocoa. I don't like to run low, so this time I bought 2 and utilized discounts, plus Target gift cards. Hershey's was the same price, but I chose Good & Gather since I know what I'm getting. I am happy with the flavor and richness. I hope cocoa prices come down again.

Excellent health benefits and flavor
I bought this cocoa as top recommendation from ConsumerLab for its high cocoa flavonoids content and low cadmium and lead. They say: “Among cocoa powders, Good & Gather had the highest concentration of cocoa flavanols (18.4 mg/g) and one of lowest concentrations of cadmium (0.11 mcg/g) as well as very little lead (0.06 mcg/g).” I tried it with plain Siggi’s skyr and unsweetened almond butter - it created an excellent sugar free dessert!

I would normally use 1 1/2 tsp. of cocoa to make a cup of hot chocolate, but this brand requires 2 tsp. Somehow, the cocoa doesn't taste as good as name brands or even the store brand of another well known retailer.
