I bought the large bag of dark chocolate chips & have a big issue. Chips are not soft & not creamy at all - the are not edible. Made a big tray of brow pans now they are trash.

(My bias is toward DARKER chocolate) Eating straight from bag: Lovely smooth consistency in the mouth. BUT, at 53% cacao, there's a bit more sugar taste than chocolate than I'd like (you know, that mouth-filling darker flavor). As a recipe ingredient: Definitely good for chocolate chip cookies. Cost: good value, especially with food costs going up (September 2022).

This makes for good chocolate covered pretzels. Honestly I think dark chocolate is nasty. But my mother in law loves it. And she ate it up like, a baby eating cake. So I will say it’s probably awesome for people who love dark chocolate. It melts great.
