Works great!
I LOVE this conditioner bar! It makes the tangles sooooo much easier to get out of my little girl’s hair! And it makes hers and mine look soft with bouncy curls.

Love!
!!!!!!!!!!I love this! Our dump stopped letting us recycle #2 non "food-grade" plastic recently, which is what our liquid conditioner came in, so I've been trying to find a solid conditioner so we're not contributing to plastic waste. First, I made my own, which was a flop & a waste of good ingredients & I had to throw them out. I decided to put a pin in making my own for a time when I have more time to experiment/try different recipes. I bought this brand because I use their deodorant AND I LOVE IT & the solid conditioner was equally as effective. I squeeze as much water out of my hair as I can, run the bar over my head from front to back until I feel it's sufficiently covered, then gather the rest of my hair in my other hand, twirl it into a "rope," then rub the conditioner bar across it, across & down diagonally. I let it sit for a few mins, then rinse. I was SHOCKED how effectively it worked the first time as my hopes were pretty low. Love it when something that's good for the environment is ALSO effective so I don't have to sacrifice either my principles or my personal care. LOVE IT. Highly recommend!

Excellent
I love that it’s plastic free, but I also love how well it works. It took some time to figure out how to really saturate my hair, but once I figured that out, I couldn’t be more pleased. One bar lasts me four months. I wash every other night and I use A LOT. P.S. I have dry hair and scalp.

Happy to stop buying plastic bottles
I like that the bar has a flat bottom to help you grip it. I wish it gave a better lather. I know the directions are to use it directly on your hair but since I use a CPAP machine which holds down your hair as you're sleeping I need to be able to lather the conditioner and really work through the snarls. I will continue to use this conditioner but when I purchase a new one I will start wetting it before I have finished the previous bar just so that it will lather sooner.

Do not buy
Would not recommend. Couldn’t get a lather, difficult to apply and made my hair more frizzy. Do not waste your money.

Works well
Works well. I have waist long permed, color dyed hair. It does take awhile to condition the hair, as the direction stated. Not as conditioning compared to conventional conditioners but, does the job. I wet hair, lather at the roots all around, and massage evenly throughout the hair, and detangle. It probably would have helped to wet some more after since after washing, it conditioned the hair pretty well. My curls were maintained. Definitely works. I didn't use much either so, it does last a long time. I like that it is an eco friendly alternative, biodegradable, and compostable and recyclable packaging. I would buy again.

Great conditioner, don't let the size fool you
I have tried only two solid bar conditioners, this one being the first. I love how the packaging is so minimal and entirely paper and cardboard, and I was surprised by the size of the bar when I took it out. I was worried about how long such a tiny thing could last. Honestly, I haven't timed its usage but I feel like it's given me around two months so far, and I scrub a lot into my head at a time. And there's STILL a bit left in the bar. When it starts getting small it really does become difficult to use on your head, but there are soap bags you can get specifically for these kinds of shampoos/conditioners to help minimize that struggle. I might cave in and get one of those eventually. When it comes to using it it does not lather or produce a lot of slick residue like a bottled conditioner would, or even other conditioner bars. It's a pretty firm and solid bar that resists getting too soft if allowed to drain and dry properly between uses. This is how such a tiny bar lasts so long. It's slippery to touch but not quick to deform in shape. After scrubbing it into my head I run it through my hair with a wide tooth comb and my fingers, let it sit while I complete the rest of my shower routine, and then rinse it out as the final step. Most importantly, I love how it works with my hair. I have low porosity hair, somewhere between a 2C/3A curl type. I'm still discovering what works best for my hair and this bar has been working wonders in getting my curls consistently moisturized, bouncy, and not a complete frizzy mess. Between the two conditioner bars I've tried so far I am going back to this one for sure. It's the clear winner of the two.

Great for travel
I bought this to cut back on liquid for travel. I wasn't sure how my curls would take it. After using it for a week, my curls didn't disappoint. I was impressed by how the shampoo and conditioner left my curls hydrated and light. The bars definitely need the travel bag for. I kept the bars in the packaging they came in because there isn't a difference visually, other than the S and C on the bar, but they are wearing down with use.
