Directions ■ use with care in premature infants or infants under 2 months of age. These products may cause irritation or chemical burns. ■ skin wound and general skin cleansing. Thoroughly rinse the area to be cleansed with water. Apply the minimum amount of the product necessary to cover the skin or wound area and wash gently. Rinse thoroughly. ■ surgical hand scrub. Wet hands and forearms with water. Scrub for 3 minutes with about 5ml (4 pumps) of the product with a brush. Rinse thoroughly under running water. Repeat. Dry thoroughly. ■ healthcare personnel handwash. Wet hands with water. Dispense about 5ml (4 pumps) of the product into cupped hands and wash in a vigorous manner for 15 seconds. A: Hello. While we do hear of some veterinarians recommending Hibiclens for animals, this is not an approved use on which we can provide direction. The best course of action would be to inquire directly with your veterinarian.

A: Hello. We occasionally hear of staining on very light-colored towels when the product is heavily applied. While we do not receive many soft surface staining issues, because Hibiclens contains red dye, we advise to be careful not to directly apply to lighter colored towels and to try and avoid splashing directly onto clothing. -Hibiclens Team

I used this product before surgery to help prevent infection, as recommended, and it worked perfectly. I had no issues and did not develop an infection. I also applied it to the scar post-surgery and found it effective. Overall, it served its purpose well, and I’m very satisfied with the results.

If you have acne anywhere on your body, this will get rid of it! I've tried so many other products but this is the only thing that actually works! I just put some on the problem areas in the shower, leave it on for a few minutes, then rinse. I use it almost everyday. It has done wonders in just a week of use!

I preferred the old packaging. I have my own foam pump. This is less product for more money. However, I do like the soap for controlling HS outbreaks. It's fantastic for that.

i work in a hospital so my hygiene needs to be kept well. this makes me feel a lot cleaner and actually prevents me from sweating. however, it does contain perfume - so anyone with allergies should be cautious with this. i’d also recommend using a moisturizing soap or lotion afterwards because it does leave your skin feeling dry

I can’t believe a supposedly medical-grade product has fragrance in it. This was recommended to me because I’m allergic to Neosporin, but I’m also allergic to fragrance, as many many people are because of overexposure due to fragrance being in just about everything, so I can’t use it.

This Hibiclens is a must have in your home’s first aid kit. I have three kids who are always playing outside and get plenty of scrapes and scratches that need an antiseptic cleanser to start wound care. This antiseptic is perfect for us. They don't mind using it, and it doesn't cause them pain or burning. It contains 4% chlorhexidine gluconate that helps kill germs on contact and keep the affected are clean. I really like the convenience of it. It comes in a secure bottle that dispenses it as foam. It comes in a light pink color. It produces plenty of suds and has a mild scent. I am very happy with this antiseptic skin cleansing solution and defiantly recommend.

With an adult in the house who is a medical professional, it was noted how great of a cleanser this is to have both at home or in the office. With Hibiclens, you have a product that is medical grade and preferred in many providers’ offices, but with the convenience of being in the household. In general, we use it regularly for basic hand hygiene, washing and cleansing our hands after washing dishes in the kitchen, mostly. It’s also a very good choice when we are treating wounds for our kids, allowing us to cleanse and disinfect before we apply a bandage or otherwise. It has a nice persistent effect that gives you peace of mind through the day that your hands are clean and you are reducing the chance of transferring bacteria!

Hibiclens is used in healthcare and hospital settings and this small, convenient sized bottle is great for home use to prevent infections after cuts and scrapes. Hibiclens is antibacterial, antiseptic and antimicrobial. It's a great idea to keep this in your first aid kit and for any outdoorsy type trips or events. I've used it on a few cuts and it's helped keep the site clean and infection free, I prefer using Hibiclens over Neomycin / Polymyxin B / Bacitracin type creams.

I initially requested this due to my daughter constantly getting scraped up learning to bike/etc. I was a bit worried about it being too much for normal use. It’s turned out to be a staple with my family. Really feel good about the clean and hygienic power it has and it’s not drying or too strong scent-wise.
