Hillshire Farm Thin Sliced Pastrami Beef - 7oz

Use this everyday for my fiance and i’s lunch! Love how thin it is so we can make as thin or loaded sandwiches as we wish! We also love to use this with our panini press!

The flavor is great and the only reason I finished the sandwich but I tossed the rest of the meat that was unused. It is like chewing on plastic. I have never left a review like this but I was compelled to tell you that this is an unpleasant thing to eat.

I like to use your pastrami for my imitation "Reuben's", along with provolone cheese that is lower fat than Swiss. Your pastrami has always worked best. However, even tho' I was careful to use lean slices & sandwich turned out fine, the cold sandwiches we made last night with the leftover meat were VERY full of gristle! I threw out about half of my sandwich. Hopeful your quality control will be back to doing their excelkent job by time I purchase my next pkg. I recommend this with caveats.

There is so much water added to this pastrami that each slice literally drips a water solution. I had to pay each slice dry with a paper towel before using it for a sandwich.

I use this product to make corn beef and pastrami sandwiches.

I bought this product last week opened it up. Had about six slices put it back in the container. Went to get it out today doesn’t expire for another 10 days and is already moldy.

Have made reuben's from this product for a number of years but not any longer now. First of all not ultra thin sliced in any way. Very thick slice. Had 2 packages. One was okay. It was edible at least and not as gristly but still very thick slices. Package #2 was not edible. Had so much gristle that all 4 sandwiches made for our guests had to be thrown away. Absolutely terrible product and absolutely the worst quality control. Very maddening that a product like this would even make it out of the production facility. Not even worth 1 star rating but I'm forced to give it a rating.

I buy your lunch meat all the time. This pastrami truly disappoints unfortunately. Might want to rethink this one.

We decided to try this pastrami and we were terribly disappointed. It had huge chunks of tough gristle mixed into the beef that made it inedible. We just tossed it and wouldn’t even give it to the dogs. Hillshire Farm must be throwing every scrap they can into this pastrami.. Never again will we be buying their products, don’t trust their ingredients.

Just purchased this pastrami 2 days ago, went to open and saw this white powdery substance in package. Did not open and will be returning to the store. Not sure what it is and don't know if I want to know.

I have bought this many times in the past for our Rueben’s. This time, there were hard pieces of gristle after warming in the microwave. I had to throw quite a lot away, kind of ruined the experience

I was extremely disappointed, this package of the pastrami had a piece of gristle that was throughout the center of each piece, VERY STRINGY, VERY TOUGH, what a disappointment!

This pastrami is my Husbands favorite. So flavorful. Makes a great sandwich with some added pickles and mustard.

There are those who say "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone." In the case of this here pastrami, they couldn't be more right. Every once in a while, I realize that I haven't expanded my palate in certain areas in years. My wife suggested that I step up my cold-cut sandwich game. I decided she was right (she usually is) and next time when we went to the grocery store I picked out a new addition to my sandwich meats. Well, I ended up picking out one of these here little packages of heaven. Let me tell you, this hit me hard. This was a total game changer! I fell in love instantly. Well, fast forward like... two whole weeks and my area gets hit with the 2021-2022 transportation/grocery store crisis. I couldn't find these little slices of heaven ANYWHERE! I searched every store in my area. It. Was. Gone. For two months I search high and low. It was a life of sadness and of desperation. I thought that was the end. This wonderful addition to my sandwich game was a fleeting memory of love, hope, and deliciousness. I survived on off-brand turkey pastrami and other roll-the-dice-on-random-meat pastrami. It was a dark time for me. Then one day, one GLORIOUS DAY, I saw it. There were only two left on those barren shelves, but I was the lucky man who saw it before it was gone again into the annals of history. Tears welled up in my eyes, joy overwhelmed me! MY SANDWICH WOULD BE WHOLE AGAIN! I've been looking since then. It's been a week and I haven't found any more. Here I am, on lunch break, nibbling the last little morsel of heaven thinking, nay HOPING, that I'll find it again some day. ...but I have hope. I have hope that one day our grocery store shelves will be full again in true American fashion! And when that day comes, I can live again. 6/5 Will eat again -Gabriel Hegrat

I used to like this product very much - it made a pastrami and rye as good as a New York deli. Lately it has slipped in quality - numerous translucent areas - gristle? bone? - which were inedible - chewy substance that had to be pulled out of the mouth - disgusting - had to discard the pack.

I think their pastrami is pretty good. It has a good flavor and is thinly sliced. Its not overly salty either. Its reasonably priced and you get a good amount of meat. Id buy it again.

By far the best pastrami out there in a package. Even better than the stuff they have at the deli. I like how it beef and not mix with anything else like pork yuck. Literally the only thing I eat is this stuff and smoked turkey
