Great trash can keeps my nosy dog out of the garbage. But do not take the lid off to change the bag. I did and accidently broke one of the hinges. I called customer service and they sent me a new one at no charge. Outstanding!! The can keeps the bag nice and tight so it doesn't fall in to itself

I've had this trash can in my kitchen for 11 years and just now the lid broke. I called customer service and they sent me a new lid . The customer service rep was great!

I Wrote to hefty to explain my trashcan lid was broken at the back hinge after having it for a while. They were kind enough to offer to send me a replacement lid and ship it to me for free. They also sent me a video explaining I should but remove the lid in the future when changing the bag as it can weaken the lid. Amazing , I had no idea!!! Thank you so much to a good company who cares about customer service even in 2020. By sending the replacement lid they prevented me from buying another trash can AND from making waste needlessly with a wasted trash can. Thank you

The Trash Can has served us well over the few years that we have had it. We thought that we would need to spend a bunch of cash to replace it when the hinged portion of the lid broke. I searched for a Model number and could only come up with the 2266 embossed on the lid and bottom of the container. Thank God that it was enough for your Customer Service to identify and replace the lid. I never expected to receive a FREE lid in the mail only a week after contacting Customer Service.
