It opens by pressing the foot petal and when you release it the lid shuts automatically and You can't hear it. It is so pretty and functional.

I found that style gets dirty so easily and this has stayed clean so loooove that. I also love that the bag stays in place, no slip at all. The size is perfect. It holds a good amount. Speaking of which, the bags hold a lot but also don't break from the weight. They say scented and that is definitely the truth. Even in the packaging I could smell them. The scent is lasting and definitely covers any odor. So so impressed! I would pick a different scent for myself but overall, LOVE this trash can.

I chose the Pink color which is not my usual choice for a trash can but it is beautiful!! I love the foot pedal so don't have to touch and lift the lid. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t think I’d ever be excited about a trash can, but this one is pretty awesome. It’s huge, so I’m not constantly taking out the trash, and the white and stainless steel design actually looks really nice in my grey/white kitchen. The slow-close lid is such a great feature—no slamming, just a smooth and quiet close every time. The fingerprint resistant feature is nice since it doesn’t get smudgy. The liner ring is fairly handy too—no more bags slipping into the can, which can be a bigggg pain. It’s a little big, so make sure you’ve got the space for it, but honestly, it’s fairly sleek so that it doesn’t feel bulky. It’s on the pricey side, though, so you’ll have to decide for yourself if it is something you really need at that price point. If you’re looking for something stylish and practical, I’d definitely recommend this one.

The push pedal works fine with no issues, and you can keep the lid up if you’re doing something that makes that useful! We’ve been having issues with our dog going in the trash and this fully helps! The only con is that the bags needed are bigger than your normal kitchen sized trash bags so they’re a little more expensive

The trashcan seems to be pretty durable due to the fact it’s made out of stainless steel. I also really like how when you have to take a bag out, the lid flips up and the bag is accessible. The lid technically is not removable but I appreciate the locking mechanism while it’s open. Overall, I’d buy another one!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced my old push-lid trash with this, and we're all loving it. The foot pedal is easy to use and convenient for when I have wet or dirty hands. The way it holds the trash bags open makes me able to get the most out of it's capacity. The lid seems to help hold in odors well, and the included trash bags, while scented, weren't overwhelming. I typically prefer unscented bags but the scent doesn't escape while the lid is closed so it doesn't bother me at all, and the scent isn't overly chemically or overpowering. Considering buying a second one so we have a matching can for our recycling.

We are a family of 5 so the capacity is better than our smaller one. It seems pretty durable, although it does have a dent in the lid already from my four year old, but that’s a special case. I think it will be easy to keep clean being stainless steel . The lip keeps the bag in place nicely

As soon as you open the can with the foot pedal you can smell the scent from the bag masking any garbage or foul smells! Hoping to find the refill bags easily that fit into it. I'm not a fan of the bags that come with them as they come with a very overpowering scent. The odor control does work. However, the fresh scent does not smell good, in my opinion. The bags are pretty durable and don't fall apart. If they had unscented bags I would definitely purchase them.

And the finger smudge resistant is a huge plus with my little kids. The soft open and close is great and east with the foot pedal. I did put a dirty diaper in it the other day and it only smelt when the door was opened, which makes sense. I would highly recommend.

It is a pretty big trash can and it is not flimsy. The bags that came with it smell amazing which is great, especially for kitchens. The only small issue I have is that there are only a certain amount of trash bags that it comes with which are bigger than my usual ones, so I will have to buy those. But apart from that it is a great trash can that will last you a long time.

This one is so nice! First of all, it looks really nice and matches my kitchen well. It fits exactly where I had my 13 gallon trash can. I like that this one is a bit larger. The step feature is nice and I like the slow closing lid. I also like how it’s easy to secure a new bag into the can. It keeps food garbage odors trapped inside much better than my previous can. It’s also super easy to wipe down and keep clean. I’m not really a fan of the scented trash bags it came with because I smell the scent every time I open and close the can and I am just not a fan. But I am super appreciative it came with trash bags since the ones I have currently are for a smaller can. I would just get unscented ones in the future. This honestly makes my kitchen look nicer - it has a pleasing aesthetic! And it’s very well made and durable. I’m also pleased it came in the box ready to go without me having to put anything together and installing the trash bags and using it is intuitive. I’ll never go back to my old style trash can, but I will definitely repurpose my old one for something else once I clean it out a few times.
