Honeybee Gardens Truly Natural Lipstick

I purchased Valentine last year & it is absolutely my favorite lipstick in my vanity thus far. The color is perfect for my tone & the texture is so creamy & nourishing. So many lip products dry my lips out but these are really good. Not as rich as a good gloss but really nice as a lipstick. No scent. Feels great with a favorite lip balm first. Good wear but not great, but this is a natural lipstick. Puts Burt’s Bees away. Valentines color is so romantic though, I literally cannot get over it. So Barbie. Color pigmentation is more solid than all my relationships I’ve ever had so I’m obviously going to rave. Absolutely worth the shipping. Just bought the NYX cupcake lip liner to shade match it perfectly.

This lipstick is amazing. I have sensitive lips, and this lipstick did not irritate them. It stayed on for several hours, and still looked smooth across my lips.

This is very drying, and not just as time wears on. It's dry as you put it on. Patchy coverage and the color Darla looks nothing like on line. It's a neon coral color.

Best lipstick and is approved on the Yuka scanner…goes on smooth, it’s silky and long-lasting!!

Great product. When Bite went out of business I had to find replacement natural lip products. They don’t have the trendiest products but they are well priced, easy to get now that they are on Target.com, and have great ingredients. I’m repurchasing Valentine. I’m super pale and LOVE pink but OH MY this is some - barbielicious, little girl playing with Claire’s make-up - type shade! I only wear it home, bc it is fun but it’s just crazy. The pigment is good, not light or heavy. It’s extra creamy for a standard lipstick. No lipgloss needed. The smell is sort of lipsticky? Not herbaly or natural. Obvs I like it, I’m buying another!

It’s the perfect shade of red and definitely has a vintage feel. It can be so hard to find gluten-free makeup that works, but this does the job. I would definitely buy this again!

I'm a pale redhead with warm undertones. A LOT of reds and pinks look awful on me because they're cooler shades. This is a nice warm red and it is extremely flattering, plus it wears well.

I love pretty lipsticks, and this is my new favorite. I ordered in the Heirloom shade which is really flattering. It smells heavenly, glides on smoothly (no pulling on the lips), is creamy and moisturizing. I love it mostly for the moisturizing aspect, but it's also such a pretty color. I'm about to order different shades. I love that it supports a small business brand, is vegan, cruelty free, paraben free, and made with organic oils. It is not a lip stain and therefore does not last all day but it's also not drying like most lip stains. I love it!

The only lipstick that doesn't dry out my lips or make them greasy. It isn't a stain, so reapplication is needed after a few hours.

Love the feel of this product on my lips. Noist but not too greasy and stays on longer than most.

I used to get this lipstick but in "cherokee" which as I get older was too dark, and I am so glad I found this lighter shade!!

Moisturizing with just a touch of soft color. Fabulous !

This lipstick is very pretty. A soft mid pink with a little rose red in it. I'm always in the sun and I'm 59. My lips are aged and this lipstick goes on smooth. It also has just the right amount of shimmer. I love it. I'm a Highly Sensitive Person so I'm "ultra" sensitive to smell, I did not smell anything bad (smells kind of good) once I applied it, but it doesn't smell that good in the tube. But considering the natural mix of ingredients that doesn't shock me. The taste is not noticable. I love this lipstick and will buy more. I recommend it👍

I love that it's a natural lipstick that actually works like a regular lipstick. The color is great. I've got a dozen lipsticks but find myself using this one the most. This is my second time getting this one. Highly recommend it!

Love the lipstick but it broke off in tube.

I like the way this lipstick applies. You can keep it a light shade of coral or apply again and make it darker. More than twice and it starts to look orange in me. But I think it’s just my ph level. I usually apply once. I wish it lasted a little longer but I’ve never had a lipstick that lasted unless it was a stain. I’ll buy it again when I run out.

I’m so glad I went with my gut perception about the color of “Romance” lipstick, instead of the description! I see very little, if any blue in this shade, which would be necessary for a mauve. It’s hard to describe, but I’d say it’s more of a rose shade, without the blue and a bit of golden brown. On me, at least, this is a wonderful medium to medium dark shade with brown and gold undertones that flatter my medium light skin tone, and pairs exceedingly well with brown, gold, rose, pink, ivory, gray and black upper body clothing. It is more moisturizing than the average lipstick, and lasts about as long as is typical, even for lipsticks at $25+ per tube. Overall, it’s a great bargain for the price. I’m so glad I decided to take a chance on this lipstick! Highly recommended.

After reading some negative reviews, I was pleased that this arrived in good condition, smelled nice, and was the same, dark, purple-ly mauve that I last purchased 2 years ago at Natural Grocers, but cost less on Amazon. It is a shimmery sheer mauve when applied. It will not last all day on your lips, especially if eating or drinking, maybe need to reapply every hour or so, but again, it is a natural product that doesn't have all those nasty chemicals to injest that some all day lipsticks may contain. Pleased with the product.
