Q: will the hook turn so it can be hooked over the towel bar ?

A: It's fixed, so it only slips over the shower head. So no, it won't work on a towelbar.

Doesn't stay hung up, plus doesn't have a back side. Suction cups don't sit on the wires at all. So the suction cups pop off the wires when the rack starts to slide down the shower head pipe. I wouldn't be so worried about it if the "baskets" had a backside. But it doesn't, you're just hoping it doesn't pop off mid-shower and drop your giant shampoo bottle on your foot. Really disappointed. For $25, I expected better equipment.

It can hold a lot but no back to any compartment so they can fall out when suction cup fails, which it does. Over time the bottom of each compartment gets rusty. Had to put it back in stoe and purchase onlune from same store to get lower price.

Worthless. Does not hang securely from the shower head. The suction cups that should address this issue similarly do not fit securely into the metal baskets to attach them to the shower wall. Complete waste of money.

I was surprised that it actually held all of our shower stuff, even the big bottles. I gave only 4 stars because it came with 2 little suction cups to grab onto the caddy itself but they just keep popping right back off. so I had to use the nubs on the suction cups to just be like a rest spot instead, to keep the caddy from swinging side to side (I shared a pic of that.) other than that it's very nice looking & holds a lot. I wish it came with a soap dish though.

Quality has gone downhill
We got one of these shower caddies for our master bathroom five years ago. The time has come for kiddo's shower to get one too, as they are making the transition from childhood to adolescence. I was initially glad to see the same item available, but the new one is somewhat inferior to the one we purchased a few years ago. The newer one came with suction cups in a baggie, and a *cable tie* to help secure it to the showerhead. The suction cups are very cheap and don't fit on the caddy at all (the older one has sturdy, effective suction cups which came attached to the caddy). It's fine I guess, it fits on our showerhead and we don't need the suction cups, but man am I bummed by how awful and cheap the Target store brands have gotten.

This shower caddy is the BEST!
I just re-docorated my small ensuite bathroom and purchaed everything from towels, to rugs, to shower curtains and decorative items. Of all the things I got (it turned out beautiful by the way), this shower caddy to me was the BEST purchase of them all. I just love it!! It's well made, sturdy and super funtional. It holds my bathing products, hair products, bath tools (loofahs, foot scrubs) and much more. Thank you Target and Threshold. I would buy this again if I needed it.

Wobbly, their solution is a zip tie. Terrible packaging.
First, the fact that this was shipped in a box too small slightly blows my mind. As you can see, it never fit in the box to begin with. I put it up and it's wobbly, you have to distribute weight evenly, and compared to my last caddy the suction cups are beyond cheap. I laughed out loud that their solution to stop it from sliding down your shower head is to give you a zip tie instead of a stopper of some sort. Luckily for me I still have the stopper clip from my last caddy. Overall, I'm not impressed so far.

Didnt work
Wanted to love it but it kept sliding down. I even tried the zip tie that it came with and that was no help. The suction cups weren’t strong enough either. I’ve noticed from reviews that some people have a stopper on their caddy which is probably what I need.

It’s great for our shower with a single soap shelf. I love the space for the shower hose and it holds a nice amount of shower necessities. I did use the provided zip tie to attach to the shower head. One star docked for the suction cups that don’t work well on our tile.
