Q: Does this has a blade on the back for side burns trimming like Schick offers?
submitted by Dr Pepper Guy - 14 days ago
A: Our precision trim edge is on the front of the cartridge. Just pull back the serum strip to reveal the top blade!

I did not like it at all. I didn’t feel it lived up to its purpose. It didn’t fit the curves in my jawline. I didn’t like to feel of it.

This razor is nothing special. It did not give me a close shave, and it was not smoother or more comfortable than the average razor. The value for the money is the best feature.

The razor has a lot of blades—maybe a bit too many for my personal preference, and the head feels a little bulky for me. That said, it’s a solid concept and could be great for someone who likes that style. Just not quite the right fit for me.

So far, so good. Shaves have been smooth with no nicks or cuts. Blades seem sharper than others I have tried and aren't prone to clog as much as others I have used.

This razor is by far the best I've owned. I've had Harry's and Dollar Shave clubs in the past, but this one is a keeper.

I don't have any real facial hair and shave every 3 to 4 days. But have to go over everything 2 or 3 times and the quality is not there. ! Plus I shave while taking a shower so the moisture is there. Quality doesn't compare with other companies. Not sure if you're really trying to be legit or just a $$ grab

I used razor, but it is not ergonomically user friendly, and is not as sharp as side it is difficult to do side burns

I had been using the disposable razors to save money. I just felt I was being ripped off by ridiculously expensive blades and fancy designs. Atlas is a value! You get a close shave with modern style. Finally, a razor worth buying!

One might say I’m obsessed with finding the right razor. I’ve done the “big name” cartridges, the expensive safety razors, the cheapies…. . and then, ATLAS! I know this sounds line a cliche, but THIS IS A GREAT RAZOR. Shaves like butter. My search is over. Thank you, Atlas!

I was looking for a 5 blade razor with a heavier handle and this one does the job. It gives me a nice close shave with no razor burn.

I am trying one of the Atlas razors now for the first time. Well-built and does a great job. I like how my face feels afterwards. Will be getting some more cartridges.

Totally shocked by the long lasting quality of these blades. So happy that I have found a high quality blade that I can use 2 times a week on my face and head. No burn, no cuts, no problems!!

Good razor bad for close corners

The razor works exceptionally well, providing a close shave on large, open areas. However, when it comes to tight corners, such as those between the nose and lip, it fails to deliver a precise shave. The razor lacks a single blade on the back or a similar feature that would enable it to reach these confined spaces.

Really disappointed with the poor quality of the handle (not easy to hold when wet! Gillette has a better gripping handle)!!! The blades/shave was not very smooth. The lubricating system was like a Schick razor. For all the hype I thought it would be better… I’ll stick with Gillette!!!

I have seen the comments under the Atlas ads on Facebook that the blades are the same as what Schick uses. They may look like similar cartridges, but everytime I have used the Schick Hydro over the years, my face breaks out. I do not have this problem with Atlas. I simply get a very smooth, comfortable, and quality shave without burn, irritation, or breakouts. And I really like the bright color and style of the Thunder razor.
