It looks like the ink goes down a considerable amount as soon as you put it in. It is also ridiculously expensive. I do like that you can recycle the old ones for free. I don’t like that it has microchips in it.

After a month and a half of installing the cartridges my printer is say "ink is low". I do not print very often. Previous cartridges have lasted about 6 months! Why are these cartridges not lasting long?

Little content with a big price tag.
Typical cartridge replacement with typical contents. Clarity is identical to other cartridges. The problem is that this four pack replacement is very expensive. Manufacturing process and marketing is not that elaborate. Yet the cost does not reflect the simplicity of manufacturer, but instead the greed of HP.

Directions, please!
I thought that the ink cartridges that came with my new printer would last longer than they did. When I needed to replace them, the ordering process was easy. However, I did have difficulty finding the directions for replacing the cartridges. The instructions never said that all 4 cartridges must be replaced at the same time. I also needed to find a visual for removing the orange plastic thing. Granted, I am not very tech-savy, but I can follow directions if they are provided. I should not have to go looking for them.
