I have greatly enjoyed this laptop. From building it on HP's website to setting it up to using it, it is a great investment (especially if on sale). The form factor is great, keyboard comfortable to use, and it is easy to switch between laptop and tablet modes. I've also had no issues whatsoever with performance. All around great laptop.

The laptop performance is great but the battery life isn’t great at all. In a best day I get 2.5 hours of usages on a single charge, on other days I got about an hour on the battery life

My odyssey with HP started in the 1990s with the HP Vectra, HP Pavilion, and HP Brio. Later, I used the HP Spectre and HP Chromebook (2010). All of them were fantastic. This time, I bought the Envy as my first PC for all personal use. It is very fast and comfortable for day-to-day use. I am not into gaming or programming. The looks are fantastic and very different. The Envy feels very solid, though it has some weight. Overall, I like this Envy very much

This laptop is really a Windows11 machine with all it's problems. Sould have listened to warnings. Very difficult to use the folder arrangements, tried to move photos to new folders. So, you ask me, would you buy this laptop again?answer is NO.

The computer itself works fine, however I don't like McAfee. After deleting the application there is constant alerts on the lower right hand corner of my laptop, which affects what I am doing as it is very annoying. Because of this I will never purchase another HP product.

I have been selling HP hardware for over 20 years, from monitors to Servers. We purchased this laptop for a client of ours. It blue screened from day one, we did a full format and reinstall of Windows 11 same thing, the help desk mentioned that it would be a three week turn around on DOA, let’s just say I was not happy. I then purchased the same Envy laptop as we just can’t wait this long. We continued to setup and configure the new users profile went ok, delivered laptop and yet again blue screening, we did a number of test to diagnose the issue. I disabled Ethernet and tested WIFI and vice versa. We updated every driver to try to rectify this issue. Seems a little more stable now. I have spent so much time and money to fix a problem that should not have happened. I’m disappointed in HP quality of service.

numbers only available at the top now, the side keyboard has been removed, but it is the same way on the macs and maybe they are trying to be more streamlined; however, it was a difficult habit to break for me. the envy was easy to set up, the keyboard is responsive and has large buttons, battery life has been excellent so far, mcafee security comes free the first month, you can keep it or get your own. my envy was purchased for basic home use, not business, but it's still a good quality machine, highly recommended.
