Again, both programs are 100% optional. If you do elect to subscribe to Instant Ink and then cancel the subscription, the printer will stop working on your last billing date. Just replace both Instant Ink cartridges with genuine HP 68 ink cartridges and your printer work again. When you cancel Netflix, you cannot watch shows or movies there any longer, so if you cancel Instant Ink, you would not be able to use the ink in those cartridges any longer.
