A: No expert, but I believe there is a 3 gear shifter, as well as a 7 gear shifter, which gives you a total of 21 combinations of “speed”

Love this bicycle!
I've had this bicycle for 2 yrs now and it's great, it seems to be about the same quality as my more expensive bicycles. I'm 5'2" and have the seat at the lowest height so my feet can touch the ground, which I like for stability (I say this for parents). Thank you, Huffy! Please make more of these.

Too small! The online description says it is ideal for people that are up to 70 inches tall, which is 5’10”. The bike itself has a tag on it that says it’s ideal for people up to 5’2”. Beautiful bike, but misleading description, especially when ordering online and you can’t see how small it is.

Well built, good service
The bike came to us fully assembled, I checked it throughout and everything was supper tight and secure! I was so happy with my purchase and I recommend this bike 100%. On a side note I specifically recommend getting this bike from target as there employees do a great job assembling them, I've been to countless walmarts shopping for the same bike and they all were loose or broken, it was unreliable. Count on target for giving you high quality products!

Shifter broke before first use
Shifter broke before first use. I wasn't expecting a perfect bike, just good enough to last a couple years before kiddo outgrew it. Assembly was fine, not great. But, carefully moved the shifter and it shattered in my hand. Bike broken before even first use. Completely unacceptable horrible quality.

Unisex Bike
We returned due to the rear frame being bent which created the tire to sit crooked therefore the chain constantly popped off. I did have to put this together which wasn’t difficult. I didn’t realize it was a unisex bike so if your child is just 4’7” I’d recommend getting the girls bike! My daughter’s seat was all the way down so the bar was about the same level. I did order this bike again just the girls version bc I loved the price point and otherwise the bike seemed well built. (If buying a boys bike this bike would probably be fine)
