Shifter broke before first use. I wasn't expecting a perfect bike, just good enough to last a couple years before kiddo outgrew it. Assembly was fine, not great. But, carefully moved the shifter and it shattered in my hand. Bike broken before even first use. Completely unacceptable horrible quality.

We returned due to the rear frame being bent which created the tire to sit crooked therefore the chain constantly popped off. I did have to put this together which wasn’t difficult. I didn’t realize it was a unisex bike so if your child is just 4’7” I’d recommend getting the girls bike! My daughter’s seat was all the way down so the bar was about the same level. I did order this bike again just the girls version bc I loved the price point and otherwise the bike seemed well built. (If buying a boys bike this bike would probably be fine)

Too small. Targets product description states 58 to 70 in rider. That's incorrect. I ordered the bike and after getting it home, saw the attached label states 4'6" to 5'2". My son is 5'5" so this bike is definitely too small

I wanted something simple for my 12 year old Granddaughter not 18 or 21 gears, just wanted one shifter, so I ordered this bike. Unfortunately halfway through assembly realized it is 21 speed. The seat is very narrow and lacks padding, will have to replace. She weighs less than 100lbs and has a sore rump after 30 minutes.

Bike broke after one week. Cannot hold any weight. Is definitely made for a kid who’s very small. Frame is small and hurts your body and the seat is extremely tiny

This is not a perfect bike, but for what you can get at this price point it is deserving of 5 stars. I am an adult woman who is 5’4” and the frame is perfectly sized for me. The gears shift very smoothly and the bike performs well on the trail. I have to drive to anyplace I can use it so I won’t be using it daily. Hoping it hold up longer than what some other reviewers have said because of that. I just needed something inexpensive and easy to load into my van so I could bike with my boys. This bike checks the boxes for sure. What I don’t love: the seat. I am not a heavy person but my bum feels like I rode the bike with an elephant sitting in my lap. You HAVE to plan to replace the seat. It has been 2 days since my last ride and sitting down is still unpleasant. Also assembly was…interesting. It took my husband and me about an hour. We had to deflate the front tire to get it on the bike. The instructions are very detailed, to a point of being confusing at times. The bike came out of the package with some scratches, nothing bad enough to return it though. Overall though, what I like about the bike outweighs what I don’t and I’m happy with this purchase.

This bike left my bottom in my pain for 3 days. The frame is very small. All your weight pushes down when you ride. Definitely wouldn't buy again. But target was very nice about allowing me to bring it back understanding my frustration.

Doesn't last. We have replaced so many parts on this bike. The newest one is the breaks again. This bike is ok. It hot my son back and forth to school every day for over a year and 3 months. So if you buy this bike, know it will only last a year and you will tinker with it almost weekly after about 6 months. Its price point is spit on. You get what you pay for.
