Hunter Fans Astwood 1 - Light Wall Light in Matte Black

So Happy with these sconces. I was so excited to get them. I had an electrical company come install them for me to make sure they were aligned correctly & installed correctly. They were just installed yesterday so last night was the first time I was able to try them out. They worked beautifully, look amazing in my bedroom & illuminate the night nicely. So far I’m extremely pleased with them.

Its a Very great quality product. The glass globe is durable and that's awesome so if it's bumped it won't shatter instantly. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

I replaced an older fixture with this one and I am very pleased with it! Does take knowledge of electricity, but very easy to install otherwise. Made of great quality, and I would recommend it!

You would need tools and basic installation information for it to work properly. Be sure to have your power shut off before installing! It took about an hour to install it. It’s a great addition to the house! Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love, love, love this wall sconce! It is beautifully designed, sleek, and what I would consider "modern-farmhouse". We installed this in our guest bathroom, and it is truly stunning. I do feel like we will need to install another one on the opposite side to complete the look of it, so if you are considering this option, I would suggest buying two. We purchased one of the Edison bulbs to go in the sconce, and it is so gorgeous!

The sconce looks sleek and sophisticated. It even brings a bit of a rustic edge with its stylish frame. This fixture has a lot of glass surrounding it therefore it gives out the right amount light I need for my enclosed porch. We installed the light and it only took a few tools and about twenty minutes to replace the old light fixture. The base fits flush against the wall. It also covers any imperfections on the wall from the prior light mounting. I was really impressed with the quality of this fixture. It is well made. This brand is always dependable and my family will be installing more.

If you have ever replaced a light fixture before ( or even if you have not), this is a breeze. The instructions are clear. The fixture is well made, sturdy and the wiring is basic and minimal. By adding an Edison bulb (which is not included) gives it a pleasant, updated look. I am very pleased with this fixture and feel that almost anyone could install it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this wall sconce for our older Victorian home that we are remodeling. It is currently installed in a once dark hallway. My boyfriend is a carpenter so the installation for him was quick and easy, he claims anyone would be able to install it if they wanted. As for the look of the fixture, paired with the right light bulb it adds almost a vintage feel which is what we were going for. The light itself is a decent size and with with glass surrounding the bulb it let's out a lot of light. Paired with the brushed nickel it gives off a more modern feel without losing its character. We don't have it installed in a humid area, so I can't speak on how it holds up to humidity, but I can attest that it easily stands up to fingerprints from dirt covered sticky children hands who feel the need to touch everything. Thankfully it's easy to clean being mostly glass, leaving it to continue to look wonderful for years to come.

We recently updated out master bathroom and needed a light that was more modern to match our bathroom set. When we installed with light it only took a few tools and about twenty minutes to replace our old light fixture. The base fits flush against the wall and sits perfectly right next to our mirror giving the right amount of light for our bathroom vanity. The quality is very nice and it hold up very well to steam and humidity in the bathroom. This light fixture is easy to easy and can be wiped down with a damp cloth our with a duster. We are very happy with this light fixture and the overall quality! I have some experience with changing light fixtures and have found this one to be one of the easiest light fixtures to install.

I painted the walls and ceiling to look like a dark starry night in the woods, and even added a larger fake tree to the mix. I wanted the doorway of the room to look like the entrance to a log cabin and needed a light that looks like a porch light yet is an indoor light, and I found exactly that. This wall sconce light is absolutely perfect in every way. It's elegant yet almost rustic and I put one of the old looking bulbs that has the fake flame for light and it just tied the whole room together. I feel like this light can be used in so many different areas of the home. It's made very well and I wired it in myself. It was VERY easy to install. I highly recommend this beautiful light sconce.

I like the wall base size and they way it covers the whole back area of the light. Makes a nice background. Also, it covers any imperfections on the wall from the prior light mounting. The rugged, yet stylish steel frame for the glass is a real eye pleaser. Having alot of glass like this fixture has, gives out the light I need for the back sidewalk. If I need to clean -- it is easy to do with a feather type duster. Looks wonderful, -- very happy.
