Directions Adults and children ages 4 years and over: Tilt head sideways and apply 3-4 drops into involved ear (tip of applicator should not enter ear canal). Q: My package doesn't have an expiration date. How long does this product remain safe and effective?

A: There is no expiration date on Hyland's Earache Drops. In the U.S., the FDA has exempted homeopathic manufacturers from putting expiration dates on their product labels. While nothing lasts indefinitely, homeopathic medicines are good for many years when stored under normal conditions (away from moisture and excessive heat or cold). If you notice the appearance of the medicine has changed, you should replace it. I saw mixed reviews and was very nervous to try. From my personal experience I would recommend! I was having mild like ear infection symptoms (I never had an ear infection in my life) and completely lost on what to try for relief asap without going to doctors immediately. I gave this product a try and all my symptoms were 90% gone by the end of the day. Worked a miracle for me because I had great discomfort from my ear with soreness leading towards my jaw area which made it slightly painful to chew. Worth a try!

One of the main ingredients is belladonna which is toxic!! After taking using these ear drops I started having heart palpitations, so I researched some of the ingredients and found out that belladonna is a toxic sedative! DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!

I have had frequent ear pain/aches for years. Have been to the doctor many times to try to find the underlying cause for the discomfort and have yet to find anything. My doctor used to prescribe me ear drops that worked wonders but has since been taken off market. On my own search for pain relief I came across these one day and figured I would be willing to try it. Within 5 minutes my ear pain was gone!! I could not believe it. I used these drops a few times after again to make sure it was the drops helping and not something else. This product is great and I am always recommending it! I even keep it in my purse lol

I was pretty sure my daughter had an ear infection. The doctor's office wasn't open until the next morning, but Target was open, so I decided to pick these up to try a couple times and get her through the evening/night/early morning, then potentially the next day before the pediatrician could get her in for an appt, plus a couple days until the antibiotics started kicking in. However, it made no difference at all in how she felt, unfortunately. For a younger kid, maybe there could be a bit of a placebo effect, but, in actuality, there was no relief. I showed the ingredient listing to the pediatrician at the appointment, and he said he's never seen this work for any kids and it's not something the office would recommend to anyone; even though there's nothing that would "hurt", so they also wouldn't tell anybody the can't/shouldn't use it if they really wanted to.

I have a severe earache due to a cold and tried these drops thinking they’d help ease the pain. Unfortunately they haven’t done anything for my pain- If anything it feels worse. Id say it’s worth a try as it seems to work for some people but I wouldn’t assume it’s going to work for you because it definitely didn’t work for me.

I’m 8 months pregnant and wanted to avoid antibiotics if possible. Ear infections are common in pregnancy due to the increased fluids. My DR okayed these drops when Tylenol did nothing for me. After two doses, I felt great!

I use these ear drops for a few days because I thought I had wax buildup in one of my ears which was causing my hearing to go. The drops losen up my wax in my ear and with the ear wax a piece of a cotton from a q-tip fell out of my ear. What a blessing! I can hear fine now.

Picked these up for an earache that ended up not resolving itself and ended up at the doctor office. The pediatrician told us that the formula base for these drops is water not alcohol so this stuff can actually give a kid an outer ear infection. We then had to treat an inner and outer ear infection. I do not recommend this product.
