The box completly falls apart, making it impossible to tear the paper. I have taped the box, but the cutting edge is useless. Waste of paper. Waste of money. Plus it leaves a film of oil on my cookie sheets.

Great parchment, box and cutter. Price is too high and just got higher. For cutting, you’re supposed to put on your thinking cap, pull the amount out that you want, then tuck the lid back in the box to hold it in place/create a square edge while you cut. Same with plastic wrap and foil.

Love the fact that it’s unbleached, sustainably manufactured, and the packaging is fully recyclable. It works great and is worth the premium price in my opinion.

Glad I can find it at target! Sometimes the box get crushed a little during shipping. Tape can help. The box tends to be flimsy so I need to be gentle when tearing and get the right angle. It holds up better when it hasn't been crushed. Good natural product that works well in baking and for lining pans.

Life changing thumb tab

I’m not sure why everyone is complaining. Sure, the cutter might not be the greatest, but you’re doing it wrong. There is a tab for your thumb which helps hold the roll in place while you cut and it is life changing. I actually appreciate not accidentally cutting myself on the cutter because it isn’t overly sharp. The product itself is so much better than other brands if you are trying to be conscious about what you are using in your home.

this year i am aiming to be more of a conscious consumer, less waste and more earth-friendly products. i was using another big brand and thought, well lets give this one a shot! im glad i did, the paper is sturdy and i like their mission. im very specific with what i like, i care about the quality standard and i feel like this is pretty good!

I like the paper a lot but the plastic perforated edge thing used for cutting or tearing the paper to the correct length is useless. I have to use scissors. Annoying so I don't recommend.

Tried this for the first time, will not buy this brand again. The cutting edge does not work. Every time I try to tear it, it just rips. Not worth the money I paid for it.

The box isn't strong, nor is the cutter; I have to tear a start and it still rips weirdly sometimes. However, the product works well for my breads and biscotti, and I put it in the city compost bag after use.

This paper is okay, the packaging is not. The cutter does not work. Paper just shreds as you try to cut it off the roll.

Product is fine, but cost and use are poor

JMM - 1 year ago, Verified purchaser
Among unbleached parchment, there are now a few possibly better options. This roll is small with thin paper and a cutter on the box that is the most common complaint in these comments. Either you get an uneven piece, or the box falls apart, or both. "If You Care" invites parody. An expensive, lackadaisically-designed product is the hippy-dippy alternative to usable products.

I have an open-pit compost and don't compost meat scraps, but I do sometimes put these in with meat drippings, and the next day, I find that anonymous carnivores have licked them clean!
