submitted byJaneinSD - 1 year agoA: Hello! You can use this on dry, wet or damp hair, however, it's most effective on damp hair. Mist over damp hair in sections and comb through. Blow-dry in sections to seal in the treatment with heat. Style as usual or apply again and finish with a flat iron for maximum smoothing

Might be great, but doesnt spray.
The product itself might be great, but the can it comes in is garbage. It was a waste of money. It came packaged great, but the product doesn’t spray. You cannot return it, so I lost money on a product I heard wonderful things about, but I can’t use it to give a rating on the product because of the garbage can that doesn’t spray.

Smells foul
This smells SO bad. It smells like a farm, like a county fair where the cows are on a hot day. It is absolutely vile. I don't even know if it works and will never know cause the smell is so so bad. Returned it.

You need to open a window when using this product
I like this heat protectant because it's designed to be used on dry hair, but omg the smell is horrible. It's not even that it smells bad as much as its like a dense fog that LINGERS. I hold my breath when I spray it and leave the room for a minute while it clears out. I will not repurchase or recommend for this reason alone. Otherwise it's a good product.

This product SAVED my hair
My hair was super dead from straightening with no heat protectant EVERY day. Ever since I started using this heat protectant, my hair has not suffered damage, and had time to grow. It smells like cupcakes as well. Best heat protectant and I will die on that hill.

My hair is fine but abundant and catches all humidy in the air! My stylist recommended this product and I love it! I live in a coastal area so it is always a problem. The IGK does the trick! I've never been able to control the frizz until I tried this!

Maybe it’s not for my hair type or needs. It left my hair feeling dry and kinda sticky! Maybe it’s the protein in it. I used it before straightening my curly hair. I will give it second chance before tossing it out.

I have thin, fine hair that gets frizzy in the slightest humidity. I have to be very careful with hair care products because majority of them make my hair very greasy even if I use the smallest amount. The only downside to this product, in my opinion, is the smell. If you are sensitive to scents, DO NOT buy this product. Personally, I will be buying this product again since it did not make my hair greasy at all. I used it as directed and my hair turned out extremely soft, shiny, and no frizz!

I Just started using this Morning❤️♥️👍 i have a Ton of hair Stuff products but I decided to spoil my self So i went to ulta spent 78 dollars worth of products and the beauty specializt recommended the Trio set with the protein spray which smells amazing!!! i cant wait to try the dry shampoo and the beach club when i do the curls i love it so far
