Q: Can we next or rewind the songs?
A: your device controls the music, not the speaker. if playing from your phone and you have an audio assistant like google or alexa, you can use voice commands to skip or rewind the songs as long as the device is within earshot. the speaker is just taking the sound that would be coming out of your device and playing it through the speaker instead

Q: Can the speaker be used without bluetooth, just with a wire?
A: Hello Sally, The iLive Audio Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker does allow AUX hookup. Please understand using AUX does take away from the Waterproof of the device.
