About the Book
"Though we're not together, we're never truly apart because you're always on my mind and you're always in my heart. This lovely board book is for all working mothers, and it's the perfect way to reassure a child that they're always in Mom's heart"--Page [4] of cover.Book Synopsis
A working mother reassures her child that even when they're apart, they're always in each other's hearts. This lovely board book is perfect for moms to share with their little ones. Though we're not togetherwe're never truly apart,
because you're always on my mind
and you're always in my heart. This is what a mother tells her child as she leaves for work each day. This lovely board book perfectly captures the sentiment that many women feel about being a working mom. The lyrical text takes us through a mother's day away, showing us that although she's working hard, her child is always on her mind and always in her heart.

My mom bought this book for my daughter and I to share when I returned to work after maternity leave. The “first time mama” feels we’re definitely flowing. I teared up reading this to her every night but it was the perfect expression of love
Such a sweet book.

I read this book for the first time while waiting in a drive through…and almost started crying. As a single mom going back to work after maternity leave this book perfectly summed up how much your LO will be on your mind and how much you want to be back with them again. Additionally, I loved how the book focused on the relationship between mother and child (for the previously stated reasons)
it's okay

kind of boring. my daughter wasn’t interested in the book, it didn’t capture her attention after the first couple of pages and she normally loves to read
Sweet story!

Our toddler loves this: it gives a little glimpse into both of our days and how they're similar. Works for any mom (or dad) that works. A nice tribute to the dual roles, and can work for a family with or without a second parent.
Well done facing today's concerns for toddlers

A book about a parent still loving their small child, even when not in sight, ie, daycare/work. Sweet pictures and kind message. Board book is good quality.
Beautiful illustrations and story.

I love this book’s story that focuses on a working mom and the love and bond shared between her and her child while away. Beautiful illustrations. Took me a long time to not get choked up every time I read it to my little one.

This is a very cute book! As a single mother, I also appreciate that it focuses on the mom and the child. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t work for families with 2 parents at home as well, but the emphasis is on that special bound between a parent and a child. Great for working parents and explain to kids we go to work but always love them.
Perfect for working moms

My three year old understood right away that the mom represented me and the child represented him. It was a good book to read when I had to go back to work, and very true. The art and the story are both well done.
Great story and pictures

This is a very sweet story about a girl and her mother. My two year old loves it. I use it to explain to her what moms and dads do at work. There’s a lot of content, but it is not overwhelming. The graphics are wonderful and this book is a favorite for our family.
