Ingenuity Inlighten Bouncer - Kitt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little bouncer has its pros and cons. First, it is super easy to assemble. I was able to put it together by myself in under 10 minutes. It’s also relatively compact, which I like. The colors are adorable and gender neutral. The toy bar moves forward and back which makes it much easier to take out the baby. It’s also cozy. We didn’t use the insert, but even without it our baby looked very comfortable lounging in the bouncer, and the 2 recline positions help with that as well. Now for the cons… the bounce on this thing is strange. The baby isn’t bouncing back like on most bouncers; they are almost bouncing forward if that makes sense? And the bounce is a bit jerky due to the recline function. Next, the plug that plugs into the lighted toy bar. Our baby grabs like no other and she pretty quickly grabbed that cord and was able to pull it to her mouth. We ended up just tucking the cord completely under the fabric which was fine, but there should definitely be a warning or something in the directions. Other than that, the musical feature and vibrations are nice, and it’s also nice that it doesn’t plug in so you can carry it wherever you need in the house. We have one of these near each bathroom and one in the kitchen, but if I were needing it for the bouncing, I’d probably go with something else.

It has a removable headrest that he preferred off, so happy it was removable. It was very easy to assemble in just a few minutes. The bouncer can be easily adjusted to different reclining positions, perfect for when baby falls asleep.

I like the vibration and sound options. Something to note, this bouncer doesn’t really bounce. There is little movement except for the vibration mechanism. Another downside is the straps. There is no harness, only a waist strap. My 4 month old has tries to sit up from the reclined position a few times, so a harness strap would be a nice addition to prevent that! I love the theme, and the mobile options are very cute!
