Q: Max weight wagon can hold? Are wheels okay for beach?

Q: How do you fold it up for travel?

submitted by Gina - 4 months ago
  • A: Thank you for your question about the Ingenuity Pop N Ride Wagon Stroller! To fold it, you have to push down the locks on the wheels first, then unbuckle the child restraints and lift the fabric up where the children sit, push the handlebar down. Next you want to push the button on the handlebar and push it up then push up the loop on the fabric. You then want to squeeze it all together, lock it closed, and cover it with the seat pad. You can find these instructions in the manual starting on page 16.

You get what you pay for.

Ordered this wagon as part of the car seat trade-in deal back in April, and by July, the piece that holds the pull handle up when not in use broke in half. It will hold for a bit, but then "surprise!" The pull handle is always down, so we keep it shortened to avoid bumping into anyone unexpectedly. It is somewhat convenient to have the handle down, though. We need to use it to steer when the front wheels go off track. Steering with the push handle is not easy. There is a wheel lock option for the front wheels, similar to a running stroller, but then you cannot steer at all. Commit to traveling in a straight line or commit to pulling the wagon. The cup holder never stayed on for very long. It easily became detached with the slightest bump. Now I'm not even sure where it is. I don't know why reviews suggest that this is easy to collapse. You have to fold the push handle and pull the bottom up simultaneously. Or at least in a coordinated way so as not to do more than you should in one area or another. It gets locked up if they are not in synch. I wish there were more opportunities to try out wagons in person. Is this just how wagons work? If you have a stroller you are happy with, it isn't worth the extra money to have this as your other option. The kids think it's great, and I like that there are seatbelts. It had all the features I was looking for at the lowest price. So I guess you get what you pay for.

    Stroller

The latch that is supposed to keep the unit together for storing is terrible! We cannot get it to stay for anything! So rhe wagon cannot be stored properly! It opens right back up so beware of that defect

Would be better if it didnt break

This wagon gets the job done - not fancy but has the push feature I like. However after having it just a couple weeks the pull arm broke while I was using it. Thank goodness we were not a hill when it happened.

    They See Me Rolling

This is actually the best! I let my baby play in here while I work outside or coach soccer practice. It's so easy to fold up and take off or put on the canopy. We just took it to the beach, and I 10/10 recommend. It rolled on the sand as well as any other wagon does and was perfect for carrying the baby and so much beach stuff. Good storage pockets on the side as well as a cup holder you can remove. It can be pulled from the handle or pushed from the handlebar on the back. It has two sets of seat straps to keep kiddos safe while riding, and when it was nap time, we laid a towel down inside for him to sleep at the beach while shaded! My baby has also taste-tested this and confirmed it is good to chew on.

My 5 year old son is autistic and this wagon is wonderful for him since he outgrew a stroller. He loves it and it makes outings easier.

Wheels won't turn, handle popped off.

Just like the other review says. After 2 months the wheels were almost impossible to turn in the front in the unlocked position. They barely turn. And the handle came off in a grocery store with nothing but a bag of romaine hearts and my 1 yr old son in the cart. Thankfully it wasn't on a hill like the other review was.

    Great wagon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wagon is great for days where your kid needs more room than a traditional stroller. The quality is great. Wagon seems very durable and my son loves riding in it even just around the neighborhood.

    Don't durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like this so much, and a couples things about it, I did like. The canopy was great and I really liked that my little on could lay flat if needed. I however did not enjoy this wagon for any other reasons. It was constantly pulling/pushing to the right, making it so difficult to steer. It was slightly easier to pull than push, but not enough to make much of a difference. I didn't trust the durability of it either. Having to hold it tight enough to keep it going straight made it feel like I was going to snap the handle or frame. I definitely think there are better options than this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the pop n ride stroller wagon. I love the concept and it works great to use indoors such as when shopping. The downfall is that it does not roll very well on dirt, gravel or uneven surfaces. It does fold up for easier transport. Overall, I like the wagon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wagon is perfect for a trip to the zoo with my two kids, or a simple walk around the neighborhood. It folds up perfectly to fit into the trunk of my car which is amazing. I also love that it has a canopy to help keep the sun off the kids.

    A must have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome folding wagon. It was easy to assemble and went together very quick. I really love all the features-the cup holder, the adjustable handle, the sun canopy, the mesh pouch and the straps to keep my kiddo safely in the wagon. This has been great for walks around the neighborhood and the park. We’ve even made use of it by putting chairs, snacks and blankets for my older kiddos baseball games.

Perfect for days at baseball fields with my baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a family that is on the go and spends many weekends at the baseball field. So this wagon has come in handy in more than one way. My baby can be easily seatbelt in and I love that it has a canopy over her. I also can add in any of my stuff in the wagon. I love how easy it is able to be folded up and stored in my vehicle. The pockets on the side for easy storage and cupholders and added bonus.

Great option to add to the mix!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have really enjoyed the Pop n' Ride Stroller Wagon. This was our first time using a wagon instead of a stroller and it was a great change. The wagon has great maneuverability and the extra space for toys and a diaper bag was wonderful. We live in the city and we had no issues taking it all over. We are looking forward to using it as it gets warmer so we can go to the pool or an outdoor concert!
