Sylvi's unique cry detection technology responds directly to baby's needs, playing 1 of 10 soothing melodies with surprise giggles whenever baby calls out for comfort. When Sylvi is moved, her ears turn on for 2 minutes, waiting to hear if baby needs comforting. If your little one does cry out, Sylvi will play a melody for 7 minutes to help them calm down. Sylvi's soft glowing belly that lights with 5 different colors with a simple push from baby provides entertainment and distraction anywhere you go, from car rides to doctor's visits to grocery runs. Sylvi keeps your little one's pacifier closeby and within reach, giving them another way to self-soothe anytime they hold her. Sylvi also helps when it's time to stop using a pacifier. Once Sylvi doesn't need hers, neither does baby. To help Sylvi work her magic, parents need 3 AAA batteries and their own pacifier to attach to loop. Sylvi comes with three volume optionsOff, Low, and High.

"Low" volume is way too loud
I got this to try to help my 15 month old fall back to sleep when she wakes up at night. It just arrived today and we introduced it before her nap, but I had to turn it off before even putting her down because even on the "low" volume this thing is LOUD. My child seems interested, at least; we'll see how long the interest lasts. Overall though I'm not sure how useful this will be if it can't be any quieter.

There's soothing colors and music or white noise that you can change by pressing the belly again. You can even attach a binky to it! My little one loves this Soother.

A great way to help sooth baby especially when baby us napping in the other room and your not able to get there right away when they wake and cry. Cute Toy with Cool Features, Needs Improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the concept of this toy, especially the option to switch between nature sounds and music. However, I’m not a fan of the giggling and other noises Sylvi makes. I also wish there were a way to turn off the music without powering down the entire toy. The light-up belly is a nice feature, and it’s fairly lightweight. While it includes a spot for a pacifier in Sylvi’s arm, I likely won’t use it since the toy is too heavy and would weigh down the pacifier in the baby’s mouth. Overall, it’s a cute toy with some drawbacks.

Our kids love this!

It’s so cute and soft, the light is dim but bright enough for a baby or toddler to feel comforted in bed, and our toddlers try taking this from our baby any chance they can!
