[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ZenGlossy Table Lamp by Ink + Ivy is a modern looking lamp that adds a nice touch to my home decor. The color is supposed to be grey but it is a very light, beige-grey which I actually prefer. It looks very neutral. The design of the base looks more like a piece of artwork than a lamp base! It’s actually very cool looking. The base is made of ceramic and while it’s moderately heavy, it isn’t extremely sturdy. I get nervous that something might push it or move the wire causing it to drop into pieces. I think part of the issue is that the lampshade is so large compared to the base, which can cause it to topple. The lamp conveniently includes a lightbulb. To turn on the lamp, you need to turn one of those nozzles from inside the lampshade which surprises me because most modern lamps have a small tracking wheel on the wire or a hanging string that you pull. The light is bright enough for my nightstand. The lampshade does a good job of shielding it from being too bright.

It’s super bright and is the perfect size for our side table. Don’t expect it to be a grey lamp though… the grey is very very light, almost white.
