Takes longer than you would expect to inflate and deflating takes even longer with the pump. To deflate, I ended up just manually trying to push the air out while triggering the valve and that was not easy at all. I ordered two of these mats. Only one of them kept air all night, the other was nearly entirely deflated after one night of use. A sticker across the box opening said that Target will not refund after the box has been opened. I am very dissappointed with this purchase.

While this air mattress is cute and comes with a nice small air pump and a nice bag to carry it in, the pump does not work to inflate this. We tried multiple chargers and the pump would only work for a few seconds at a time. As soon as we were able to inflate even a small amount, the pump would die and the air would come out of the mattress within minutes.

The built-in pillow is a nice touch, and the waffle design gives great support and it feels much more cushioned than you’d expect from a compact pad. This mat comes with a mini pump that is powered by a USB cord. If you are going camping away from a power source, you will need to bring your own power to blow this up, or inflate ahead of time and bring inflated. Inflating this mat took a couple of minutes and was not excessively noisy. I have left this inflated for several days while using, and it kept its shape and did not lose air. This mat is comfortable to lay on and really helps make the ground feel even. This also fits inside my sleeping bag, which is great, but you could place underneath if you preferred when camping. This includes a small travel bag to fit your mat, pump and cords and the mat was easy to fold back up to store it away. This is also very lightweight to carry, so if you need to hike to your site it isn't too much of a burden to carry and it does not take up much space when deflated. This would even be great to have if you just want to enjoy sleeping in your own backyard or if you needed an extra place on the floor of your home for someone to sleep, and kids would probably love this for an upgraded sleepover. This has a built in pillow, which is a nice feature, but you might want to test ahead of time to personally see if you need something a bit higher with more support. Overall, I really enjoy the added comfort this brings to sleeping on the ground or uneven/uncomfortable surfaces and will get a lot of use out of it.

As we have gotten older it’s been harder to sleep well and even the kids have complained. Our TruAire Outdoor Mat has made our camping trips so much more enjoyable. Camping isn’t any fun if you are tired and sore. We used the mat on our last couple of trips and everyone fought over who got to use it. We are planning on getting one for everybody. It’s quick and easy to set up, especially with the included pump. It’s very light, making it easy to move and pack up. The waffle beam design and built in pillow made it very comfortable. It has an even surface with 50 interconnected air pockets. It’s also off the ground enough so that you don’t feel the cold through the mat. TruAire mats are durable due to the TPU material that makes it better at resisting punctures and abrasions. I also appreciate that the mats are PVC free with no BPA’s, phthalates or chlorine. I sleep better knowing it’s better for the environment compared to other brands. My family will enjoy a great night’s sleep wherever adventure takes us! I received this product complimentary for the purposes of testing.

The box included the deflated mat, a storage bag, patch kit, USB pump, and short USB cord (but no electric connection). The USB cord is very short so I had to use an extension cord. Because the air valve is only in the pillow section of the mat, it inflated very quickly, then the air gradually flowed into the main body. I had to manipulate the valve a little to get the mat to fill with air. This mattress was good for an inside sleepover-type setting, but would not be practical for an outdoor camping trip. It was not wide enough for a full grown adult.
Indoors or outdoors, lasting comfort!

The mat has a built-in pillow and a unique full-body sizes waffle structure mat, allowing you to adjust your body balance and comfort, whether on your back or your side, ensuring maximum comfort and warmth for your sleep all night! It takes only a few minutes to inflate it, also the mat is made without BPA, (no chemicals) and PVC free which is better for the environment. Another great thing about this product is that it comes with a two-year warranty. The size of it when inflated is about 75 inches long, 28 inches wide, and about 21/2 inches deep. The tough material is very durable, soft, and quality-made, each detail is amazing. Almost forgot to mention, that the maximum capacity is about 330 pounds. My family and I can't wait to go camping, the mat is perfect for indoors and outdoors. I would recommend it.

It’s pretty compact when deflated, but not really backpacking-worthy in my opinion. It comes with a cute little usb-c powered pump and a long cable, but you need to plug this into a battery pack (or the wall, if you’re at home) for it to inflate. There’s no battery in the pump/it can’t be charged up or anything. I rolled this out and started to inflate it, and the pillow inflated super quick! It seemed to totally stop inflating after the pillow was full, so I initially thought there was a separate valve for the body piece- but that’s not the case. When the pillow inflated, it closed off the connection to the rest of the sleeping pad (very narrow slits on either side of the pillow) so it didn’t inflate. I had to hold it at an angle to open up this connection and then continue inflating and it eventually filled the body portion of the pad, but it took more time just due to the small airways into this section. I’m curious if that’s how it’s supposed to work, or if mine is not up to quality control and is a bit too narrow in those areas?? Hard to say! When it was inflated, it was fairly comfy- I probably could have used a bit more air in the body but it’s all connected and it felt like it was taking a lot of effort for the pump to keep pumping at the end. The pillow height is pretty nice in my opinion, but I am very picky about pillows and something that supports my head needs to be softer than what’s holding my hips off the ground- so having it all one piece with the pillow is a bit weird and might make it awkwardly high to put your own pillow on top of this one. Overall, this is pretty convenient with the included mini pump, and it’s fairly comfy. Time will tell how well it holds up, but the valve system is interesting that there’s no screw on pieces, just push in pieces for the one way valve and then you pull them both out to deflate. Makes me wonder if those would fail eventually if you need a bit of pressure in the sleeping pad for comfort, and then you lay on it and add 100+ pounds? It seemed fine so far but I’m thinking those might start to fit less snugly over time.

Like a Victorian fainting goat. This Intex air mattress is cray cray lol We “tested” it by lying on it for fun and accidentally woke up two hours later covered in drool and life questions. It’s like being hugged by a firm but forgiving cloud that was raised on tough love. Side sleeping? Sure, if your idea of comfort is a gentle punch to the ribs from a thousand tiny starfish but hey, this is camping, not a spa retreat in the Alps. Pain builds character. And core strength. Great mattress and folds up nicely and lightweight. The only gripe I have is it didn’t include a wall plug for the usb cable I came with. Why do companies do this??

Didn’t camp with this, however, my son was in the hospital this summer for an expanded time. A chair bed has to be the most uncomfortable sleeping situation for multiple days. After day 1 i thought i have to figure something out to make this bearable for a week. So i did pick up and got this. It’s small but mighty! It fit perfectly and made the sleeping arrangements much more bearable and feel like a flat surface! Highly recommend!

Bought this for camping and it is surprisingly very comfortable. I am 5’11 and 175 lbs and can easily sleep on my side without my hip digging into the dirt. I didn’t charge the pump so it didn’t get used. I could easily blow it up myself with about 10-15 breaths.

Its nice and all but they lied on the box. I know it's not target fault but it sucks I can't return it because I had open it. They say it comes with a camping Carrying bag with a icon of a bag with a zipper but when I open it I did not see it. I try g9 return it they say I can't. For the future my advice for Target is to please make sure you check your packaging before putting it out on the sales floor! False advertisement!

I'm 5'9/150lbs. Got this bc I'm in between housing and couch-surfing for the moment. Sets up/tears down easily and quickly, takes up minimal space inflated and deflated, and is just as comfortable or more than an air mattress of similar price. And it's in 2 of my favorite colors! Can't comment on outdoor durability, but I can definitely feel the higher tensile strength of the TPU. Would 100% recommend for space-saving indoor air mattress alternative for guests. A pillow makes it perfectly comfortable for side sleeping, but the built-in pillow is comfortable enough for back sleeping.
