    Poor packaging

    These would have suited my pet food storage needs perfectly, except that they arrived with a big chunk of plastic missing out of the lip of one of the bins. The bins were packaged in a cardboard box - clearly marked "Fragile" on the outside - without any protective packaging material to protect them during shipping. I was reluctant to reorder them, since I'm assuming that they would be shipped the same way again, and I didn't want to risk receiving another damaged item.

    Not airtight

    I like the sizes and the optional casters. But, the lids are NOT airtight. They have hinges on one side and a clip lock on the other. There is some styrofoam around the edge to try to hold them airtight. But, the lid automatically bows outward. All the styrofoam in the world won't help if the lid is lifting up off the container. It needs latches on all 4 sides to be truly secure/airtight. I bought it because we were dealing with an infestation of some kind of larvae in our dog food and this did not secure them.

    Item arrived broken and in pieces. The item was shipped by itself in a box with no protective packaging. None of the pieces were put together so it was just rattling around in the box. The tape keeping the box wasn’t put on properly either so there was such a big gap that I’m surprised it didn’t also have missing pieces
