You have ruined your Ivory bars by not putting the whipped air into them. Not having the soap float after growing up with brand, really is annoying. Go back to the original formula, please.

ivory got cheap, they changed all the old recipe folks loved, DO NOT BUY, I repeat DO NOT buy Ivory bar soap anymore, any variety!

The primary reason I purchase your product in bulk is because it floats! You took that away from us... Bring it back! Side by side both products if you must but please, bring it back!

I bought this soap today 1/18/2025 which is the ivory aloe and it has mold I been. Ridiculous I will make sure that no one purchases it .

I've been using this soap for decades and I'm not happy with this product anymore. I used to buy ivory laundry detergent 40 years ago to wash my baby diapers and baby clothes. It was a trusted brand. Not any more. It's just another cheap brand of soap. It no longer floats and is not the same formula. I'll be looking for another brand of pure soap as this product irritates my skin. I thought it was the aloe scent one that I bought by mistake, but the original does the same thing. It appears by the reviews, that I am not the only customer who is disappointed with the new formula.

This was the only kind of soap I used for over 70 years. Why did you change a good thing. If you found a new market, why not keep the old product, and then create a new one.

Ivory soap has caved to wokeness! If it ain't broke don't fix it! Whether it be due to increasing pressure to make all products plant based or due to plant based products being cheaper to produce leading to increased profits, Proctor and Gamble have decided to rework one of the last true pure soap formulas at the expense of the every day consumers! The new plant based formula leaves this sickly greasy feeling on my skin and a gross layer of scum on the surface of the water that the old stuff never did! The new stuff also no longer floats and the ingredients list is now double in size full of weird chemicals that are 100% not necessary! So much for 99-44/100% Pure and It Floats huh? This soap has been reduced to the sub par chemical soup SLOP that all other brands of common bar soap try push off as "real soap" these days and you still pay a premium for it! If you want to offer a new line of woke plant based hippie garbage full of chemicals to substitute REAL soap then go for it but DON'T take away a tried and true formula that has been trusted for generations. You have taken away one of the last true old school pure and wholesome things left in this world and tried to pass off this synthetic garbage imposter in its place like everyone else at OUR expense. I will no longer berl buying any Proctor and Gamble products until the original soap is returned to its rightful place and this SHAM soap is relabeled CLEARLY that it is an alternative formula for those who don't care about purity of soap. I can't imagine those with visual impairments or other disabilities are taking this new non floating soap change too easily either! You've just made things that much more difficult for those who are already struggling you greedy corporate MONSTERS.

I recently went to stock up on my Ivory Bath soap. Couldn't find it. Bought one pack of the Ivory Soap they had, couldn't use it. Something has changed in the formula. I have heen using Ivory Soap for 52 years. Apparently ya'll have a new team of developers that think the past has been a waist of time. Please go back to the original formula. It has been tried and is true.

I am 62 years young and have been using Ivory since I was young. I just restocked my soap supply (Ivory Original) and decided to try the Aloe bar. I love this soap! The smell is a mild clean and it rinses off well. My skin felt amazing the next day! I cannot understand other reviews saying it has a strong smell, that is simply not true. I hope Ivory is around the next 100 years! Oh, one more thing. I love that this soap lathers up in cold water. Very few soaps do that. Thank you Ivory!

I bought this soap a few weeks ago. It is labeled as the “original scent”, so I bought a 12 pack. It is not the original scent and is falsely labeled. I have used Ivory soap all of my life (for well over 50 years). I cannot use this new version of Ivory soap. I have skin sensitivities and also sensitivity to certain smells and this is one that affects me in the worst way. The smell is quite bad and it made it miserable for me to breathe. I don’t have a soap that I can use now, so I’m wondering if I could still get the real Ivory Soap somewhere? I’m desperate! Please let me know?

Picked these up for their quality but most of all price, they are quality products at a fair price which is what we all need in the modern economy, where prices go up and wages go down. Larger, creamy and fragrant these are wonderful soaps, I'm so very pleased I picked up two packs, love the aloe scent. These are perfect when I go out for a light jog and exercise, to come home and have a shower, I feel clean, you can feel its it's softness, it smells lovely. Thank you P&G for this soap line and making quality products as at lesser cost, it's social kindness and awareness.

Love tried and true old fashioned soap. This soap is clean, fresh and isn't overly drying. Love that it's so pure.

Have used this product since I was a kid. Recently depleted my large stash from a number of years ago. Sorry that I bought a 10 pack. I opened the first one and couldn't stand the smell. Thought maybe it was due to being shipped with other strongly fragranced personal care products. Nope! Washed hands with it a few times and scent lingered on skin and in towel just like other fake fragrance soaps. What happened to the light Ivory scent? The "fragrance" ingredient seems like its just a mix of chemicals (apparently plant based) that makes it smell more like cheap perfume. Also, the bar developed sandy-type bumps which never went away when husband used it a few times--just like those that are shown in posted photos. that bar got tossed into the trash. Sadly, will never purchase again & have purchased a brand of unscented soap instead. The other 9 bars were given away to charity--which I could have gotten a refund. New is NOT better!

Bought what i thought was my usual multipack of Ivory a couple of weeks ago. I noticed the bars were shaped differently, but thought it was no big deal. Was I wrong! This is a completely different soap! Greasy, doesn’t clean as well, smells weird, and leaves a residue similar to Dove (which I strongly dislike). I then developed itching, and realized this soap was the cause. Needless to say, we will not be buying this again. So sad after so many years. I now get to do research to find alternatives. My prediction- this product will fail spectacularly, as consumers start using their first purchase. I also believe there is a case to be made for a class action lawsuit due to the massive changes not being noted on the packaging. I believe this is misrepresentation.

If it ain't broke,...don't go and break it by changing the formula and adding fragrance The new formula is so bad I returned it, and I almost never do that. Ps. Thanks for the new rash

The soap that... SINKS?!?!?!?! Now it is like all other soaps. Why buy ivory soap if it doesn't float?! What a grave mistake you have made.

I have used Ivory soap for many years and love the one with the aloe in it. I bought a new package of 8 but they don’t float. Has something changed??

I started to use Ivory a few years ago and I have to agree with other folks, this is not "Ivory". I understand your marketing team wants to compete with other products, which is fine, but don't call it "Ivory". The scent is not appealing. The texture is greasy.

New soap is terrible. It's more like any other gross deodorant soap than Ivory soap. It dries out the skin really badly, DON'T BUY IT!

I'm a man who has used Ivory soap my entire life and I'm now 72 years old. I recently bought a package of bath soap, not realizing the scent has been changed (Aloe scent) I noticed a stronger smell but did not realize until this morning the likely source of the discomfort, itching and burning. In fact, I went for medical help this past week suspecting some sort of infection and was given an antibiotic If you use different chemicals in your product you need to CLEARLY indicate this on the packaging. I'm certain there are many who like and are able to use your new product and wish them all the best but for me this has been a nightmare.
