Each loaf begins with a naturally fermented sourdough starter – the foundation to create the most delicious, digestible, and wholesome breads. Delicious sourdough bread
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is delicious sourdough bread. The slices are nice and big, very long and they make a great sized sandwich. The bread is soft and easy to chew when making a sandwich with it. It also is perfect for making pressed Panini's with, a little butter on each side and it grills perfectly. It also makes great toast. I love it just toasted with some blueberry preserves on top. Delicious! Can't beat it. My favorite bread by far.

Good value for true sourdough bread
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised by the quality of this bread as someone who regularly makes my own sourdough. The crust was firm with a soft crumb inside. The crosshatch pattern on top is attractive, and the slices are just the right thickness. I compared the slice next to a loaf of my own bread (mine is taller with bigger holes). It also makes a delicious ham sandwich. The packaging references a long fermentation process which isn’t always the case with store bought, prepackaged sourdough loaves. All in all, a good value and quality.

Delicious sourdough bread
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very delicious sourdough bread. Tough exterior that is crispy and a chewy and tangy interior. The kids love it as it has a very sour taste. And I love it as it has lower glycemic index compared to regular bread. Delicious when toasted and eaten as is with some butter or used in a sandwich. I only wish that it wasn’t so round and big, so it can readily fit into my toaster.

Great Classic Sourdough with Bigger Slices
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The San Francisco style sourdough is perfect for sandwiches because the slices are larger and hold up really well. It has that classic tangy flavor you expect from San Francisco Francisco sourdough but still feels soft and fresh. I also love it toasted in the morning with butter and jam, but it really shines as a sandwich bread. I've tried making sourdough at home and finally gave up, so I appreciate how close this taste of homemade. Even my son, who usually refuses store brought sourdough bread, like this one from this brand.

Delicious sourdough loaf!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed this bread! I love sourdough. I like this size loaf because it has really big pieces in the middle! I like to make toast and put big slices of tomato on this bread. It makes for a refreshing snack! The bread crisped up nice but also stayed nice and soft in the middle. The flavor was nice and not overpowering and the chew of the bread was also satisfying. I would recommend.

Not as tart as I would like. Good sub for homemade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the size of the boulevard, ut feels like I'm getting a good amount for the money. The quality is close to my home made sourdough. I prefer a little more tartness than this one has. The bread is not as crusty as I would like either, but I know it is in a plastic bag, so that happens. My son had 2 pieces toasted and he loved it. There was a little bit if some crumbly bread on the end.

Great loaf of sourdough bread

I love how this has that homemade bakery feel with the round shape like you just pulled it out of your Dutch oven. It has such a good sourdough taste and isn’t too dense of a bread at all. I think that you will really enjoy this even if you aren’t a huge sourdough fan this really just hits the spot for a delicious bread whether you toast it or not.

Yummy tasting sandwich bread
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yum! This sourdough sliced bread from Izzio Artisan Bakery is delicious! I loved using it for deli meat sandwiches but also used it in the morning for egg sandwiches, as well. It seemed very fresh when I bought it, it mentions how they use fresh ingredients so it might not last as long on the counter but we had it for at least a week without it going bad. Definitely would buy again.

Delicious and affordable store-bought sourdough
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK, I absolutely love this bread, it’s a great option for store-bought sourdough. I have been using it for sandwiches and butter toast with eggs in the morning, it’s even a hit with my picky kids. The price was good and the quality was great, this is definitely something we will be purchasing again in the future. The only downside is that when I went to pick it up from the store, it was frozen solid, but I imagine it has to be shipped that way

Yummy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delicious bread! Sourdough without all the work of making it yourself. It browned up great when heating it for a grilled ham and cheese. It has minimal ingredients which I love! I will say, it did get moldy quicker than other bread I have but I’d say that’s a good thing to know it’s not made with a ton of preservatives! I would recommend and would buy again in the future.

The best sourdough bread!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The San Francisco boule sourdough is our go to bread of choice. We love to have a slice or two in the morning with butter or peanut butter. The kids have even started to prefer this bread to snack on. My favorite part is the limited ingredients so I don’t feel like I’m eating a bunch of processed food. You can toast or eat strawberries guy from the bag. It’s truly the best!

Sourdough toasted to perfection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a great San Francisco style sourdough! It tastes good by itself, toasted with butter or dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar, in a grilled cheese, etc. It’s both kid and adult approved. It toasts really well and has a light feel and texture with a good amount of air pockets. If I had to go searching for a dislike, it would only be that the bread size didn’t fit in a standard toaster.

Such delicious sourdough!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a bit spoiled with sourdough bread. We have a friend that makes it from scratch! I also buy it from a local Amish bakery and it's just so delicious. I saw Target had this and tried it... And I am so shocked! It's fantastic! And the price is so good too. Toasted with a little butter was just the perfect breakfast snack. It crunches along the edges so perfectly but stay soft in the middle. Such good sourdough!

Not my first choice, but it works
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t enjoy this bread plain or toasted as much as I enjoyed it as French toast or a grilled cheese. It has a very dense texture. There is a decent amount or slices in a bag which is nice as bread is expensive.. I am not sure I would buy this bread again if I had a choice of others, but it does get the job done in a pinch. It feeezes well and defrosts relatively quickly..

Love the minimal ingredients and fresh taste

One night I used the bread with tomatoes and fresh cheese and drizzled with olive oil. The bread was chewy and very hearty the dinner was delicious and light and was great to serve as a vegetarian dish that was quick and easy to serve with a side of fresh bread

Delicious San Francisco style sourdough
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This izzio San Francisco sourdough loaf is so good. I’m a sourdough maker and sometimes I just buy it, especially when it’s a San Francisco style loaf. This one did not disappoint. I got it pre sliced which I prefer. We created a couple grilled cheeses and enjoyed the whole loaf. Perfect size and not gummy or chewy. Light and fluffy bread with clean ingredients.

Not quite San Francisco but tasty nonetheless
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Izzio "San Francisco Style" doesn't taste like San Francisco sourdough. It's simply not as tangy nor crusty/chewy enough to trigger memories of chilly ocean breezes and hot chowder. But, this bread has a great texture for sandwiches and it really shines with a delightful crispness when toasted. There is a mild tang. The shelf life is surprisingly long, too, which makes me think they excel at rapid transportation. They also use sturdy packaging to preserve integrity.

Delicious sourdough sliced loaf
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My toddlers love sourdough bread and they love snacking on peanut butter toast. This sourdough loaf is not a sandwich loaf but a regular oval loaf but it does come sliced. It tastes delicious like what you expect a good sourdough to taste like. Glad I can find this at my local store now. It’s a good thickness and toasts up nicely for the kids. It’s a good size and average price.
